Teja POV

Setting: Chicago, Illinois

Time Frame: Winter 2019

"Bitchhh! I'm on my wayyyy! Make sure yo ass be in front of the line!"

I hang up on my bestie , putting on my lotion for tonight's concert.

We just turned 21 last week, so we was excited to see our favorite rapper "King Von" live in concert.

"Got a drop on this flexing nigga!" I yell grabbing my Chanel purse.

I'm definitely ready to show out. We waited 21 years to finally show our ass to the world.

Now don't judge but my bestie & I are what you consider "loose" "groupies" "thots" "home wrecking " etc.

We only are attracted by wealthy men who were single , in committed relationships or even married & we've been passed through our entire hood.

But tbh , you only have one life to live. So we don't regret shit.

With my recent doctor's visit, I tested negative to all diseases and infections. So I hope I can get lucky tonight.

I walk out my tiny apartment and get in my 2019 Mercedes.

Thanks to my deceased sugar daddy , I can have anything I want.

I convinced him to put me on his will and now his wife somewhere scrapping for somewhere to stay.

But oh well, she never should of tried to fail me in high school.

Now I know what y'all may be thinking.

Teja you slow as hell.

I'm actually quiet intelligent. I graduated top of my class. I'm still in college getting my bachelors in education.

I just make stupid choices. Which lead to bad decisions.

Speaking of bad decision, my son was calling me.

"Hi Mommy"

"Xavier what do you want baby? I told you mommy is busy today."

"Mommy grandma over here with some man and he smell like cat pee and liquor"

Oh lord.

"Baby stay out they way okay. Go to the your room & hide"

My mama had took my room & decorated it to become my Son's room.

I know she looks at me like the scum of the earth because I'm not like her.

Everybody can't get married, get a master degree and raise successful children *besides me* like Tabitha.

"Okay mama. I love u"

"I love u too baby. Go practice yo ABC's"

I hang up and feel completely like shit.

Besides my bestfriend, my son was all I had.

I had him when I was 15 & instead of being a woman, I took it out on him often.
