I sigh as I ran my hand through my hair for a millionth time today. I'm looking for a job and I can't seem to find one. I don't know why.

It's already midnight and I'm still scrolling through my mail in a hope that I may find a job. I want to be a personal assistant. I got interviewed many times but I didn't get the job.

I have worked in different companies before coming to New York and I had a lot of experience. I moved from my house to New York as I want to live alone and be independent but for that, I need a job and I tried at many different companies but I found none.

My last hope is The Archer Industries, which is impossible because this company is the biggest company in the United States. Also, I heard that the CEO of the company is very arrogant and a total asshole. I asked them before and they said they'll call me later to tell when I will get to interview.

I sighed and closed my laptop. I opened my bedroom door and walked slowly to the kitchen which was connected to my bedroom to get some water. My friend, Jessy, is sleeping. She is very kind to me. She made me stay with her until the time I can find a job on my own.

After I drank some water, I walked back to my room and sat on my bed. I was about to sleep but my phone started ringing. Who is calling me this late?

"Hello?", I spoke.

"Ms. Curl. We are calling from The Archer Industries. We would like to inform you about the interview tomorrow at 9 a.m. Will it be fine with you ?", a girl from the other line asked me.

I was overwhelmed. "Yeah, of course," I told her, trying to stay calm.

"Thank you, please reach on time. Good night." With that, she ended the call.

I woke up at 8 a.m. and started to get ready. I took shower and used my favorite shampoo and conditioner. I wore a black pencil skirt and a white blouse and went out.

"Are you going somewhere?", Jessy asked me while handing me a sandwich.

"I am going to an interview at 9 today", I told her while eating my sandwich slowly.

"Well, good luck to you then." She told me before walking back to her room.

Jessy dropped me at around 8.30 a.m. Still, have some time left I thought. She wished me luck and left. ARCHER INDUSTRIES was written in big, bold letters on the building that stood in front of me. I walked into the building. The building is really really big. Explains a lot about the name of the company I thought. As I went in, I saw the receptionist.
