JAX'S POINT OF VIEW

"Mom! Mom it's here!" I shouted. I ran through my entire house in socks and boxers as I looked for my mom in every room. "Mom!"

"In Amanda's room!" She shouted.

I ran back upstairs and gasped for air as I reached Amanda's room and saw her folding clothes on her bed.

"What did you say?" She furrows her eyebrows.

"It's here! The letter is here!" In my hands I was holding my future. This moment is what makes or breaks the next year for me.

"Jax, go put pants on." I begin to tune her out.

As much as I wanted Emma to come with me I couldn't force her to leave her family. If I got accepted I'd have to leave and when I finish college I'd be marrying the girl I fell in love with.

"It's a big envelope, you know what that means?" She asks.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "That it's a huge rejection letter?"

She gives me a stern look. "There's more of a chance you got in."

"I'm going to open it." I stare at it. "Wait, should I wait?"

"Wait for what?" She asks. "Open it!"

"I'm shitting bricks right now."

"Language." She glares. "If you won't open it I will."

"Okay, okay I'm going." I begin ripping the envelope apart slowly and then all at once papers were in my hands.

"Well, what does it say?" She asks.

EMMA'S POINT OF VIEW
Warning: sexual content

"Hunter, where's my charger?!" I yelled from my room as I frantically looked under my bed.

"My room!" He yells back.

I groan and get up, making me way to his room. Opening the door, I see him laying on the bed charging his phone.

"Stop taking my shit." I plug my phone in and just as I was about to sit down on the floor the door bell rings.

"It's probably Marissa she said she was on her way." Hunter says.

I get up from the floor and make my way downstairs to the front door. Opening it I'm surprised to see Jax standing there in the pouring rain soaked from head to toe.

"Oh, my God, Jax. What are you doing here?" I let him in as he shivers from his wet clothes against his body. "I didn't know you were coming."

"I couldn't wait to tell you." Jax takes off his shoes.

"Come, I'll get you Hunter's clothes so you can change." I walk up the stairs. "And tell me what?"

"It came." He tells me as he follows me upstairs.

I stop at the top of the stairs to see him looking at me with tear stained eyes.

"The letter?" I ask and he nods. "What did it say?"

"Maybe we should talk about this later." He says as Hunter appears.

"Hey, man." Hunter greets him. "I'll be back later I'm going to get Marissa from the bus stop and bring her an umbrella."

"Okay." I nod.

He moves past us and walks down stairs, grabbing an umbrella and putting on his coat. Walking out the door I wait for him to close it before I begin speaking.
