Siddharths pov

"A year ago, I met this guy, he was so sweet and so caring, I loved him with all my heart, turns out he was a fraud, he never loved me, he was just using me for my money, he was just using me" she said with so much pain in her voice, and a tear leaked from her eye.

I have never seen her cry, she was always the happy type, the positive type, and idk why it hurt me to see her like that,

"people suck" I said with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood,

"yea, yea they really do" she said with little laugh as well

"thats why you got so angry at the first day of college when I said about the marriage thing" I said and she nodded

"you're a jerk" she said with a chuckle

"I know I am" I said with a laugh, "that was a sick burn though" I said with smirk,

"you are a terrible person" she said as she threw a prescription pad at me, and it hit my face, and she laughed out loud

I threw the prescription pad at her face back, and it was my turn to laugh,

"meanie" she said with a pout,

"god you are such a child" I said with a chuckle,

"being a child is better than being a boring adult" she said, and I nodded,

"the first thing you said in life that made sense" I said with a chuckle and she stuck her tongue out at me. After some time the door burst open and revealed a middle aged man, looking very worried,

"avneet are you okay, what happened" he said and and ran towards her bed, he was wearing a turban, I didnt know avneet was a punjabi, avneet kaur, ohhhhh kaur, I get it now

"baba im okay, I just fainted" she said with a chuckle,

"whats with the security" he said in a serious tone,

"baba, he is Siddharth, he had an accident, im sure you know him and this security is for him, and he studies in my college, because of him the whole floor was empty" she said and rolled her eyes at me, then continued

"so he felt bad for me and said to the doctor to treat me" she explained and her dad came to me

"thankyou, im amandeep singh " he said with a smile, I thought he would threaten me or tell me to stay away from his daughter,

"no problem sir, and I think all of this is very unnecessary, there are so many people who are really sick but cant get admitted and it's all because of me, so this is the least I can do" I said feeling very guilty,

"you are a good person Siddharth, I know you are" he said and I felt really happy, I smiled at him, then he went to avneet and asked,

"when are you getting discharged?"

She looked at me and asked

"tomorrow, right?"

I nodded

"are you still going to the trip?" He asked avneet

"obviously" she said in a "duh" tone, then he looked over at me and said

"are you going?"

avneet chuckled and said "no, sir is very busy for these stupid field trips, right sir?" She said smirking at me and I glared at her before turning to him

"I dont think I will be able to sir, due to my fractured leg and some injuries" I said politely,

"oh, I think the field trip is in 2 weeks, I think you will heal by then, it will take your mind off things for a few days" he said trying to convince me, I was in the mood to go so I said

"I think thats great, okay I will also come, but I dont have the permission slip with me right now, and the due date is tomorrow and I dont think I will be able to come to college" I said to him,

"oh that is not a problem, I will send a guy in a few hours and he will give you the slip, and avneet can submit yours while submitting hers, right avneet? He said and looked at avneet and she whined and said

"fineeeeeeee" and then went back to her phone,

"okay I think I should leave, the receptionist said only 5 mins cause the visiting hours are over" he said and gave her daughter a hug and a kiss on her forehead and he came over to me and gave me a hand shake and smiled,

"get well soon" he said to me,

"thankyou" I replied and then he went from there, I dont know why, but I have a good feeling about him................
