A few days went by, and Sandy set up her plan for various things. This included trying to get James and Lily together (which basically meant trying to reconcile James and Severus, possibly one of her hardest tasks), devising ideas for the future with Dumbledore, and stopping future Death Eaters from earning said titles by deviating them from their fates.

She had gotten the idea of also making the Wolfsbane potion for Remus. However, she would get it to him through Dumbledore, whom would not disclose his supplier. Thankfully, she had learnt from Professor Snape (while he was officially in the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore still lived) how to make the potion during extracurricular hours. Knowing now that he remained loyal to Dumbledore despite his supposed duplicity, she wondered if Snape had done this in preparation for his 'return to the Death Eaters'. His death had been oddly sad, specially after finding out the truth. Either way, she was thankful to his teachings, as this allowed her to make the potion for future (and now also past) Remus, as well as teach Nymphadora too.

At the current present, however, she was at the library, having been studying by herself until her tutoring lesson with Barty came. He, much like the last two times, came accompanied by Regulus, whom sat quietly studying beside them, although surely listening in too. Once their Study of Ancient Runes lesson ended, Sandy turned to Barty once more. "Well, that's it for today. Was there anything not clear? Did you have any questions?"

With a small grin, he shook his head in response, feeling rather satisfied with the hour they had spent. "Nope. I'm all good for now. Thanks so much!"

It was then that Regulus interjected, finally speaking for the first time since joining the tutoring lessons. "Why are you reading about Time Magic?"

Her eyebrows rose, however, once following his gaze to one of the books that was sticking out of her satchel, she shrugged. To better understand my place here and not screw up time? Truthfully, she could not tell him that. Instead, Sandy opted for playing it cool. "I like the study of time. Becoming an Unspeakable is one of my aspirations after Hogwarts."

Recalling things they had spoken on the topic of post-graduation careers, Barty couldn't help but question her on that. "You said you'd 'probably end up becoming an Auror' though. Why do you always say that? Why not become an Unspeakable like you want?" After all, Sandy had been encouraging him to pursue a future he wanted, rather than that dictated by his father and society expectations.

"Because of the world we live in."

"Please elaborate."

His constant polite insertions in his vocabulary never failed to amuse Sandy. That was something Regulus did too, and the time-traveller couldn't help but assume it was probably due to their 'pure-blood family upbringing'. After a small chuckle, she did as asked. "Well, there's a war going on. Whether we like it or not, we will all be involved, one way or another. Its best to be prepared for the worst."

"But, if there was no war, you'd choose to become an Unspeakable in the Time Room?" Crouch concluded, earning himself an eager nod.

"Definitely."

"Do you feel like being Dumbledore's goddaugher is influencing your choice to end up an Auror instead?"

Unfortunately, believing I'd need to become an Auror began back home, she couldn't help but think. Regardless, she dismissed the truth, and provided a version of it instead. Vague, but honest. "A bit, maybe. Yes."
