Gracie's meeting my friends for the first time ever today and oh my god I'm so freaking excited. I know they'll love her, everyone on earth loves her she's the sweetest angle. A soft light was peaking through my curtains as I stretch out Gracie holds me tighter. Her hair is slightly sprawled on my face but I don't fine. The smell of her shampoo is a scent I never wish to forget. I reach to my side table to check my phone reading the my texts out loud "Sabrina says to come earlier she and that she's board 'af'" I exaggerate the 'af'
"What should we go over then?" Gracie ask lifting her head from against my chest
"I don't know maybe 3? I'll check when everyone else pulls up"
"Hmm" she Hums burying her head back down
I run my hands through her hair "Cmon sleepy"
"No your so warm and you smell so good"
We lay around a little while longer before rolling out of bed. We make waffles together and cuddle back into the remains of the fort we built the day before, knowing we'll have to take it down before my mom comes home. "What should I wear tonight?" Gracie asks
"Umm i don't know just like jeans and a sweatshirt-" I say looking at my phone checking the group chat

"Olivia Rodrigo is coming too" I tell Gracie looking up from my phone
"Oh my god ur famous friends! I love her what the fuck!" Gracie says grabbing my hands, making me laugh.
We hang around for a little while longer before getting ready. I let Gracie connect to Bluetooth and she plays a bunch of my mom's songs, she thinks it annoys me but to be honest I've always liked my mom's work. We jam out, dancing and doing karaoke with our hair brushes before we leave the house.
We get to Sabrina's and Lizzys already there. "Hey girls!" I say
"Hey!" Sabrina says running to hug me which cough me off guard since we were supposed to be socially distancing
"Girl covid?" I say laughing hugging her back
"Oh I got rapid tests so we can ditch the masks" she explains handing me one and moving on to the girl I brought with me. "You must by Gracie!"
"Yea hi! It's nice to meet you" Gracie says a little awkwardly
"Guys come sit I don't want to get up" Lizzy says and me and Gracie follow to Sabrina to the outdoor couch opening and getting started on our tests. Olivia, and Sadie and Caleb arrive taking their tested as well, all of them come back negative. Suddenly the attention shifts to me and Gracie.
"Gracie it's so great to finally meet you!" Lissy says "Cass never shuts up about you"
"Oh what the frick" I say laughing shaking my head
"You guys are like the cutest couple ugh when is it my turn" Sabrina laughs
"Hey what about Caleb and Sadie?" I say trying to shift the attention away from me and Gracie
"Oh my god for the billionth time we're just friends" Sadie says
"Mhm sure" I say leaning back to the couch. I make Gracie giggle which makes me shoot her a smile. At this point Caleb got up to get something to eat and Sabrina pulls out a joint.
"We should carve pumpkins" Sabrina says blowing the smoke out of her mouth
We all agree, and a huge mess letter we all are a little high and have a bunch of pumpkins carved in various ways the flickering faces shining in the glow of the evening. There was a moment of silence where Caleb and Sadie were sitting together and Gracie and I were lost in each other's eyes before Olivia blurts out "I need a boyfriend" we all burst out laughing
"Real" Sabrina agrees
"Wait do you know who u have the fattest crush on" liv says taking her phone out. We all shake our head and say no. "Luois Partridge!" She says holding her phone up showing his Instagram.
"Aw he's cute" Lizzy says taking the phone
We all agree before I ask "Lizzy what about that guy Michael?"
"Oh my god he's so hot" she says laughing
"Wait are you guys talking?" Sadie asks
Lizzy laughs putting her head in her hands "No I wish"
"You should like swipe up on his story or something" I say
"Yea yea" Lizzy says "I'm like to scared"
"He's a photographer right? Ask where one of his shots is from or what camera he uses" Sabrina says
"Wait that so smart" Lizzy gasps "I'll do that next time he posts"
