Chapter 5

It was 7 am when I got a call from Zara telling me that she said yes to the proposal...me who just fell asleep Half an hour after finishing my fajar prayer..i replied cool when it actually hit me that she's marrying our CEO i mean the CEO the company we work in when Zara cleared her throat  i realised I was on a call and was suppose to reply something when i replied something else lol.

So i quickly straightened up and spoke what really...i wanted to know more as i couldn't understand what she was saying over the phone so i grabbed my purse and informed her that I'll be coming in 15 mins and that we'll talk all of this over some lovely tea.

I was ready i decided to go for a white dress with pink hijab and i had worn a nude Abaya

I had booked an auto as abbu was busy with office work and ruqi was not in the mood to come along to drop me..so I had to go all alone but it's alright..
My ride had arrived in 5 minutes and I got in I was on my way when suddenly a bike in front of us stopped with a  sudden break i wanted to shout at him but since i was in a hurry i decided not to do then i shortly arrived at Zara's place aunty opened the door i greeted her and asked her where Zara was she said she was upstairs so I went upstairs when I saw yuki she reminded me of my 13 cats at home and one little monster ruqi..aka my Lil sister
I knocked on Zara's room door and she opened the door she was wearing a white and lavender colour dress

She took me over to the secret room in her room where we spoke our hearts out and she started narrating me what all had happened and that zayan was this and zayan was that etc etc she kept going on and on when i paused her and asked please tell me you didn't stalk this guy..how the heck do uk so much and dude you literally met him sometime back only not even me who works in his company past 2 years know about him and you

So when's the wedding i asked
Zara replied first we'll have a small engagement and followed by that by the end of the month I turn 22 I'll be married..he wants to get married abroad but I am unsure about it I never rly thought about it...
To which i said..girl you've got a good one a keeper I wish I get someone.. who'll treat me like a princess...
Zara said in sha Allah and on with our tea and we started with a few board games..and we decided to visit a nearby cafe... because i wanted to treat Zara as she's finally getting married so we went to a pretty cafe and had more snacks and pastries and just spoke about how unexpected our friendship was..we just met on the first day of her work I just helped her out and we clicked and a week or so later look at us now inseparable...i thank Allah for this friendship.. I can't describe how Zara is to me..she's my better half,she guides me to my deen, she's a beautiful person and a kind,polite personality and I could have the list going....when Zara spoke.. Zaynab I'm meaning to say something to you i said go on...
Zara said: Idk when this started,this bond,one of a kind and very hard to find... I'm thankful to you for being my emotional support my shoulder to cry on,my other half, someone who never made me feel like an outsider,my star...idk when i had tears in my eyes when Zara spoke all of this..i just hugged her and said My Luna🌙

So after all the emotional talk and finally we decided to go back home..i had to go to the office as I had gotten a call from the team leader that an important file had to be submitted so I waved Zara goodbye and informed mom that I would be late and left for the office.i reached there in 25 minutes all sweaty but still looking pretty Ma sha Allah
i entered the office when the team leader texted that I had to give it to the CEO directly and that he won't be able to do it..i got a Lil pissed..this man always giving his work to others instead of him doing it...so I went to the office knocked one, twice but no reply I wondered if jiju(bother in law) ik my bestie isn't married yet but uk they'll be engaged soon so...

When suddenly the lights went off..Ya Allah it was a power cut..when someone came in the back and said to give the files to him I said no I won't be said I'll give it to the CEO..and for 10 minutes we kept arguing..i couldn't see his face as the current was off and I couldn't find my phone he looked somewhat like 6ft tall ..i was already angry and now this fellow is getting on my nerves what an angry bird... astagfirullah did I just say that out loud
The voice in front spoke:angry bird!?!? excuse me..i said sorry and ran as fast I could..i forgot why I had come there to the office i just left home..and tired to forget the embarrassing moment that just happened and hoping i wouldn't meet him tomorrow
Allah please help mee..
I reached home it was 8:00 pm I had dinner and finished Isha prayer and off to bed....

So who's the angry bird..? Any guesses..?
