Chapter 11

Guess whattt!!!!
It's the wedding season.. finally Zara's getting married tomorrow so today is the haldi,we had it at our place since Zara's house was busy and my house has a big backyard and today's theme was yellow sharara
I woke up today around 5 am and prayed my fajar salah and I went for a walk in the park, usually Zara comes along but today she didn't come maybe she's busy at her place and yeah today is gonna be a busy day..i checked my notes where I usually write the activities of the day, i reached home and was entering my home when I heard the door bell I wondered who it was early morning, i mean we don't have any guests this early and the only guest that has ever been this morning is Zara but she is busy and at home so who could that me

I went to the door and opened it, and well I did open the door but I closed it again wait what the heck did i just do and why is he here, umm am i dreaming
Wait let me check again I open the door and he's still there i close it once again,when ruqi came by and asked me why I was banging the door I said nothing and was gonna leave when the door bell rang again and this time ruqi opened it and I was beside her..
Well as you guessed it was none other than the angry bird whom i never wished to see again here on my doorstep
He had a bag along with him and ruqi asked him to get inside while I went to get mom and dad.

Like a gentleman he greeted and came inside, he gave the cover in dad's hand while I stood in the kitchen looking through the curtain what was happening in the hall, a while later he said he was about to leave when he turned once and we had one second eye contact and he looked down and smiled bfr leaving.ehat the heck is that supposed to me. Probably nothing, i then went to check what was in the bag that he had given here and why here tho then dad said that it was for zara's haldi and since haldi was gonna be here at our place he directly came and gave the items for haldi here rather than Bringing it from Zara's home. But then dad asked how does he know our home i mean our house is a little hard to find..i just awkwardly smiled and said probably the gps and took the bag and went to my room.

God that was close,or else I would have gotten scolded oh wait why should I be scared, this is my house and i rule here..ah forget it now focus is haldi and well it should be the best ofc..so after breakfast around 9 am the people came to work for the decorations, they were sent by zayan Bhai and it took them 3-4 hours to finish and we also decided to help like moving around things and passing water bottles and a few snacks and tea. By afternoon it was all done and ma sha Allah it looked the prettiest and if I say this is the prettiest than the nikkah..ooh I just can't wait...and now I've got to go get ready and help my little Missy get ready as well..it was around 4 pm when Zara and her family arrived at our place and well we decided to get ready and well today was gonna be a little messy since we gonna enjoy with haldi and then followed by the telkarasam at the grand chola

Around 6pm all the guests arrived and we started with haldi,everyone came applied haldi on Zara and we'll she received so many gifts and then lastly it was my turn and uk me I took the whole bowl and poured it on her lol yeah and then after haldi we all returned to our rooms took bath after all the yellow mess and got ourselves readyy, i decided to go for a yellow sharara with simple embroidery and as for zara the same yellow sharara but with heavy embroidery and we left for the grand chola.

So telkarasam is basically nothing much just the bride's side family treats the groom's side of the family with a feast usually by making a full goat dish along with so many delicious side dishes.
As we reached the venue we were taken to the ladies section in the 2nd floor as the gents were seated in the first floor and the dinning halls were on the 3rd floor and strictly it was ladies and gents separate, everything went smoothly and again Zara was blessed with so many duas from everyone and now it was showtime. We were so hungry but since we only get to eat at the last round aka the feast we had to wait.

After waiting for sometime we finally ate and now it was the feast time coz only the groom side gets it..ik disappointing but that's how it works but as a foodie here ik i shouldn't do this but i did it i wanted to try the mutton dish so I had to sneak in and I did i wore my blue Abaya and blended in with everybody.

Yummy so delicious, daam the best mutton i ever tested I was enjoying it so peacefully coz i finally snuck in and nobody has a clue about this not even my dad who's sitting a few chairs across me lol. I plan on quickly finishing and running but fate had different plans for me. I mean I did eat the food i stood up and was about to leave when suddenly there was a whisper in my ear saying ik who you are i slightly turned to see it was zaid i mean whaat how could he i just slightly elbowed him and ran as fast as i could and I felt dizzy all this food and running has made me dizzy and the last thing I remember is Fallin on the floor and someone coming.........

So how's the chapter...?
Finally haldi is done!!!
