Groaning I slam my hand down on my annoying alarm clock. Dragging myself out of bed I take a shower and brush my teeth, walking into my closet I pick something randomly and throw it on

Arriving at work early I sit in my office and take a nap. Dreaming about my team again, only this time it was a nightmare. Opening my eyes I massage my temples trying to forget the scene I never wanted to see again.
Hearing my door click open I glance up to Jane throwing a pillow from my small sofa at me, hitting me in the face.
"Nice outfit, that's actually really cute!"
"Thanks, I just threw it on" I hear her chuckle
"Time for work lets go!" I'm pulled away from my comfortable chair and I glare at her
"What the hell is going on?"
"Well your running late" glancing at the clock my eyes widen, I only have 5 minutes before I have to meet with the head doctor!
I throw on my doctors coat and fix my braid then run out the door cursing me and my forgetful brain.
Arriving at the head doctors office on time I knock on his door
"Come in" stepping inside I take a seat and he looks me over and smiles, surprising me.
"Ah I heard good things about you Dr. Jackson. I'm glad they are not wrong, well your probably wondering why your in here, right? Well we are getting a new patient today and he is uh very complicated, I have a doctor that is going to be working with him but if that falls through then the case will fall to you. Unfortunately, you can't say no because this is a very important case. So be ready at all times to take his case, understand?"
Sighing I look into his eyes seeing that I don't have a choice I cave "fine" he nods and I'm dismissed
Lunch....... (Sorry I'm not writing about her appointments with the patients I'm not really good at that stuff)
"Man he was a hunk! Just one look and my knees were jelly" I roll my eyes at Jane
"You talk about a new guy every week"
"So! This guy is totally sexy and treats me like a queen! How is that not awesome? Most hot guys are to egoistic but he's just perfect" I glance up at her and see her looking off into space with a dreamy look in her eyes
"Whatever you say" and of course she doesn't here me so I go back to eating my spaghetti
When I'm on my last bite of food I hear a commotion outside. So me being me I look through the window on the door of the cafeteria. Looking around I see a ton of guards just standing there, raising a eyebrow I go to open the door but stop when my eyes land on a man being wheeled in. He's strapped down so he can barely move but he's smirking which makes him look really dangerous. Looking his face over I raise a eyebrow at his makeup, it surprisingly suits him which makes me chuckle. When I run my eyes over his body I notice some tattoos and my eyes widen when i finally realize who the guy is. Joker.
Still in my shocked state I try to control my fangirl thoughts. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of the joker and he's hot, but I'm not obsessed or in love with him, plus I'm not scared of him even though I know what he has done. But I'm a navy seal and there's no way he can scare me, I've seen worse psychopath's then him and I've gone through more mental hell then anyone could imagine. And there's no way I'm breaking if he tries to get under my skin.
Thinking back to my talk with the head doctor my eyes widen, he's the patient I will have to take care of if his other doctor fall through? Just great! Man why did I take this job again?!
I rub my temples and sit back down with Jane who is now filing her nails. Finishing my lunch I leave and go back to my office
After work........
I sit staring at a black cat that somehow got into my apartment, the unknown cat walks over to me and plops down in my lap still staring at me. Raising a eyebrow I stare into his eyes then sigh, deciding to keep him after checking that he had no collar. Thinking back I always wanted a cat, but my dad was allergic so I never got one

Staring at the cat I try to think of a name but I suck at naming stuff
"Hmm, how about midnight?" The cat makes a face and I raise a eyebrow
"So no to that. How about onyx?" Another face
"Felix" the cat hisses and I sigh
"Fudge" getting nothing i roll my eyes. How could a cat be so complicated?
"Ace?" The cat start to purr and rub on me making me smile
"Well nice to meet you Ace, I'm Hazel"
