The siblings had all trickled back inside, following the sounds of various clinking and cabinets being opened and closed. Annalise sat at the kitchen island, staring at nothing as she slowly ate her peanut butter marshmallow sandwich. She left the ingredients out for the meal, knowing that Five would be there to make another one. Five couldn't help but glance over Annalise as he walked into the room.

He noticed new things, such as her new hairdo, it seemed she uses bows now, her new style, older fashion was something she'd always admired, her energy. To others, she might still seem like her happy little self, but Five could tell by her slumped form; she was exhausted. Though he couldn't quite tell if it was from her breakdown or if it was something more, something settled in the depths of her mind, engraved in her bones.

Though he noticed things that were still exactly as he'd remembered. Obviously, she hadn't grown, which raised questions in his head but wasn't going to delve into that just yet, she had her elbows propped up in the table, something she had been scolded for millions of times, and legs swinging as she was perched on a stool. Five's lips unwillingly turned up into a smile; he'd remembered those habits, guess even time couldn't break some habits.

He smiled even more as he realized this was the sight he had missed the most, her sitting in the kitchen eating their favorite snack. Five starts making his own sandwich, while everyone files into the room and surrounds the opposite end of the island. They watch as he glances around the kitchen and to his siblings, subconsciously darting his eyes back to Annalise more than a few times.

"What's the date? The exact date." He asks as he starts to put the items away.

"The 24th," Vanya responds.

"Of what?" he asks pointedly.

"March," Annalise says quietly.

He glances at her warily and says, "Good," not convincing her one bit.

"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asks, but Five ignores him, so he stands up to prove that he wasn't joking around, "It's been seventeen years."

Five's attitude shoots back, "It's been a lot longer than that." And he spacial jumps in front of Luther to behind him to put away the marshmallows.

"I haven't missed that." Luther mumbles.

"I have..." Annalise sighs, but Diego cuts her off, speaking up, "Where'd you go?"

Five jumps from the shelf he's at back to the island, "The future. It's shit by the way."

Klaus is quick to point out, "Called it!" while looking around at his siblings.

Five sighs again, "I should've listened to the old man," he puts the peanut butter back in the fridge, and continues, "You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice." He picks up his sandwich and looks up, noticing that Klaus is in a skirt.

"Nice dress." he compliments, Klaus looks down as Allison rolls her eyes, "Oh, well, Danke!" Annalise giggles, tuning out her siblings slightly. 'Hey! My blue dress is in Vanya's room! I forgot I left it in there a while ago...' She tunes back in to hear some of what Five had been saying.

"-forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." Annalise looks around at her siblings to see confused faces because they didn't understand a word he had said, but Annalise had been zoning out so she only heard snippets that she scarcely remembered from studying with Five in his room about time travel.

"That makes no sense." Diego murmured, but Five instantly snapped back.

"Well, it would if you were smarter." Annalise watches as Diego stands up in an instant, ready to pounce, but Luther blocks him with his arm, and Annalise makes a double behind him to grab his arm and softly pull him back down to sit.
