Later that day, almost immediately after Oscar has left me alone, my door is being unlocked.

"Adam, fuck off," I shout after the door has been closed, looking through my new clothes I bought on my way back from the Quay through town.

"But, Chiara," I hear him whine before he appears through the living room door, "I'm so bored."

"You're a fucking child," I laugh, folding up my new skirt.

"We're going to the twins'," he announces, literally throwing himself onto the sofa besides me.

"Fun," I mutter, picking off a piece of fluff from the fabric.

"Bit more enthusiasm, Chi?" He cups a hand around his ear, leaning in closer towards me.

"Fun!" I repeat with a false enthusiastic smile.

"That's more like it!" He claps his hands and I laugh in amusement, "come on, come on, come on," he groans, "we've got to get going."

"Fine," I huff, "let me change into comfier clothes though," I rush out before sprinting up the stairs knowing his reaction to that wouldn't be... too positive.

"Chiara! Don't take decades," he calls up to me.

"Cunt," I shout down at him as I open my bedroom door and head straight towards the wardrobe.

I never take 'decades'.

I keep my hair the same and my top but change into some white baggy joggers and put my black platform converses on, leaving my jewellery as it is.

I do, however, stop to wipe off my mascara and reapply it, also re-lining my lips and putting a blush pink coloured lip gloss over

I eventually make my way downstairs where Adam is obviously faking sleep.

I lick my finger and shove it in his ear.

He immediately jumps up, squirmy, "Ewww, Chi. You silly bitch," he aggressively rubs his ear, face scrunched up.

"Lots of love," I reply to him, grabbing my phone from out of my pocket after it buzzed.

"Out we go go go," Adam is pushing me out as I slowly walk towards the front door, focusing on replying to Oscar's message.
