Cassie POV:
I start heading to my music class with Sergio and I head to my seat in the first row fully expecting him to sit in the back near his other friends like he always does when he comes over and sits near me I turn my head in confusion "we are friends now...." he says, confused."Since when?" I say "Since I asked to be friends and for your number ya weirdo" He says he lifts his hand to ruffle my hair and I move my head back before he can "excuse me SIR! Sir, sir, I'm gonna need you to step back, " I say, putting my hand up."Contain yourself in proper company!" I say in a British accent, a terrible one he looks at me confused and then breaks out in a violent laugh."Don't laugh at me!" I say in a high-pitched tone."How can I not it's so funny!" He says, still laughing. I punch him in the arm and turn away from him, looking at the board."Ow! I'm sorry! Come on, " he says. The class starts, and we begin our work. Finally, the school day ends. "YAY! THEY MAY TAKE MY SLEEP BUT THEY'LL NEVER TAKE MY FREEDOM! well, they can, but still!" Sammy says as she's running over to me "Kira simmer woman simmer! Who gave her coffee!" I say, looking at the boys Jason and Sergio throw their hands up in defense."NOT IT!" they both say in unison,"I Went To Mr. Wison-Hoses and offered me coffee cause I looked like I was dead, just dead. Look at me, I'm Dead." She says dramatically as always and hopping around in circles like a dog chasing its tail. I grab her shoulders."Calm woman Calm!" I say shaking her back and fourth her hair flying everywhere "hey I gotta hang back the teacher wanted to talk to me so see you guys later" Jason says running away we all shrug our shoulders and begin walking out Sergio is walking on the right side of Kira and I'm walking on the left she's in the middle and we walk out the doors we turn to go to the benches near the doors and see Kira's father Bruce and her little sister Snow Kira's eyes grow VERY wide like a cartoon character with a bolder heading right towards them "Heeeeyyyy Babbbooooo" she says in a high pitched squeaky voice trying not to seem guilty "whose this Guy?" He says, standing there menacingly. I grab Sergio by the collar and yoink him back."Who?" Kira says, confused."That guy she just yanked back," her dad said "uhhhhhhhh Her boyfriend! Juancarlos, " She says suddenly."What now?" Me and him both say confused I look at her then her father then him "yaaaaa my boyfriend Juancarlos it's a new year new me" I say trying not to sound unbelievable "you started in August!" He says "new School Year New Me!" I say Sergio got the idea and says "ya my girlfriend hehe my bebecita" He says awkwardly laughing sammy puts her face in hands trying not to laugh "mhm" he dad says clearly not believing it "they weren't expecting to be caught so early you know" she says nodding her head furiously he clearly still doesn't believe it so I take a very deep breath and grab his hand He looks at me wide eyed and I just smile my just go with it smile he blushes and looks back at her dad smiling "okay??? Well, pearls here, so let's go," he says."Roger that dad bye Cassie Bye Juancarlos!" Kira says, running to catch up with her dad. we wait till we see their car leave and I look down at our hands. "Sorry!" I say, letting go of his hand swiftly and quickly "Nah it's fine, I don't mind," he says, laughing and rubbing his neck."Oh, my brother, just walked out. I'll see you later," he says."Bye!" I say as he runs to his brother I turn to walk to my car when suddenly I feel arms around me at first I go to grab my mace before I see what the arms look like "Sorry! Had to get a hug, bye!" He says, running back to his brother. I turn around to see him leave and stand there confused and just completely still when my cousin runs up to me."Hey Cassie! Can you drive me home?" He says,"Uh ya ya sure, let's go," I say, still looking at where he left. I turn still captured by my thoughts, we walk to my car and get in. I turn on my Bluetooth and start playing music so I can focus on driving and not letting my mind wonder into the void pretty soon. I forget what just happened and talk to my cousin I drop him off and drive to my house quickly running up the stairs throwing my stuff on the floor of my room and flopping on my bed and what happened rushs back into my head "AHHHHHHH!" I yell and bury my face in my pillow. Why, why did this dude have to do that! He couldn't have just said bye and left it there! Why did he have to hug me! I think banging my head onto my wall I pout when my mom walks into my room. "What are you doing here so early?!" I say confused "well I worked till 1:30 today, so" she says "oooohhhhh" I say."How was school?" She says,"It was meh." I say she nods and walks out, closing my door. I head downstairs to talk to my older brother Carl, "CARL!" I yell."He's out getting something. " His girlfriend Nina said,"Oh okay, nvm then, " I say, heading to my moms room."Hey mom, can I go to Sammys house?" I say she nods her head yes, and I head out the door and text sammy. I'm pulling up to her house, she replies with K, and I go to he door and knock she opens it and goes, "Hey buddy!" And hugs me "sammy we have an issue!" I say, looking at her in a panicked manner she nods her head, and we go into her room and close the door."What happened?" She says,"he memememe," I say in gibberish."Excuse me?" She says, clearly confused. "I don't speak Gibber Gabber," she says. "Calm down, take a breath and tell me what happened," she says, grabbing my shoulders. I take a deep breath "bro he hugged me. I almost peppa sprayed him!" I say in a fake new Yorker accent slapping my hands "wait what now?" She says, looking at me, confused."He hugged me what kind of friend hugs another friend, bro!" I say freaking out."Calm down, Cassie!" She says, trying to bring me down to reality."You Calm Down. You did this! Why did I grab his hand!" I say pacing around the room "right I'm sorry I couldn't think of anything else, bro!" She says, apologizing furiously. "I'm sorry, I'm just like, Does he like me he's setting my entire world in a wildfire, and I don't like it! I don't like it, not one bit!" I say, crossing my arms and pouting."Dean Calm down, it's fine. It's not like he asked you out he's pretty oblivious. Remember, I doubt he knows, " she says calmly."Stop using facts and let me freak out!" I say, flopping face first into her bed to fake cry "sorry sorry" she says "Nah it's fine I'm just being a baby" I say taking a deep breath and turning over "he doesn't like me he's just overly friendly your right your right" I say calming my heart down I hear my phone beep and grab it too look at the notification seeing its a text from Redneck gator Sammy looks at my phone and fake sniffles "my new friend is loneliness" she says fake crying "oh shut up" I say grabbing her face and pushing her away I open the text
Redneck gator: >Hey you wanna hangout after school on friday?<

Keto Kentucky: >sure I'm assuming we are taking your car?<

Redneck gator: >ya so I'll pick you up in the morning to so you don't have to take your car<

Keto Kentucky: >okay<

I Reply and throw my phone into her bed and thunk my head on her bed "sammy what does the moo cow say? AHHHHHHHHHH" I scream "what happened?!" She says laughing."He asked me to hang out." I muffle with my face in her bed she fake gasps and says,"Really!?" In a fake way,"what are you guys gonna do?" She says in a baby voice I look up at her with an annoyed face "hangout idk he just asked to hangout that was it" I say plopping my head back down into the bed "Dawwwwwww" she says in a mocking tone I reach up and slap her leg "owwww" she wines rubbing her leg and fake crying "so did you say yes or no?" She says normally, "I said. Yes, of course!" I muffle out "well then there you go you'll be fine," she says patting my back. I look up at her annoyed and thump my head back into her bed I decide it's time to go home and we say goodbye and I drive back home listening to you set my world on fire by nate Smith and wait for Friday
