42. I Just Can't Cope

I just can't cope
Time is slipping
I lose hope
So sick of tripping

Feeling like a damn football
Bouncing between all these issues
After that ages-old fall
No one's there to hand some tissues

Life doesn't stop
Only I do
A painful drop
Screaming SUE YOU

Pulling at my hair
Groaning so so loud
Invisible tear
Weeping not allowed

I just can't cope
My head is spinning
Hanging from a rope
Cursed from the beginning

I am running as fast as I can
But it never seems enough
I do wanna be a better man
But all of this is so damn tough

Time is ticking
Pounding is my heart
Nothing is clicking
I am falling apart

Cursing everything
And everyone
These thoughts sting
I am so done

I just can't cope
This race is too swift
There seems no scope
Of a desperate mood shift

I just need some time to rest
Is that too much to ask for?
Heaving up and down is my chest
As you are screaming WORK MORE!

I am going to burn out
If this does not change
I am so sick of this self-doubt
And you defining my range

To peak at my future, I do try
But it's a horrific kaleidoscope
Desperate tears leak from my eye
As I scream out loud 'I JUST CAN'T COPE!'

Hey there, depressed souls! I am back with another poem this Sunday. Hope you guys are doing great and better than me because I am personally so fed up. I almost screamed out loud 'THANK GOD!' when the week was finally over. It was pretty hectic for me.

Anyway, if you liked the poem, Vote, Comment, and Share it to help me grow. If you haven't already, follow me on Instagram for exclusive short poems that I post only there every Saturday. I have even started posting them on my Pinterest. So, feel free to check out my profile there as well. Stay in touch with me through whichever platform seems more comfortable to you or both if you are a social media addict like me 😜.
