Right after the fight with Kai chisaki has ended
I blacked out with electrifying pain shocking through out my body and was sent to the nearest hospital
I only needed few hours of rest from overusing my body, it's not that serious, because all of my injuries from small cuts to broken bones was completely healed by eri, the little girl we saved
Waking up, with the familiar white ceiling, it was already the next day from the sun outside the window,
I sat up and saw mirio-san was sleeping the bed beside me
He was in much worse shape then me, he even lost his quirk...
forever..
"Don't be sad midoriya!!!"
"AAAGGGHHHH" I shout, not expecting Mirio-san to be awake
He laughed seeing me scared, "Mirio-san you look so happy..." Guilt lingering my words
"HAHAHA of course I am, eri is saved!" Mirio-san smiled
"Oh yeah how is she?"
"I don't know let's ask the nurse" and speaking of nurse, one came right after
We bombarded the nurse with questions about eri, especially her well being
"She quarantined on room 24 and she has a fever for now and is still asleep, she'll wake up in a few days, she hasn't has clean oxygen and proper food, so she'll be here for a while, but other then that she's safe, away from harm," the nurse explained everything and we were thankful
Hours passed and mirio-san and I talked to pass the time
We were excited to see eri when she recovers from her fever
In the middle of our conversation, we were visited by my friends from class 1A and some of Mirio-san friends
Turned out the rescue was broadcasted on live TV, and from what I saw, Kai chisaki was still at large
One of his men teleported him somewhere soon after I blacked out yesterday
I was angry at him and at myself, we let a criminal ran away into hiding, who knows what he'll do to get eri back
"Cheer up midoriya! I know chisaki is still on the loose but we'll prevent him from ever getting his hands on eri again" with a big thumbs up he patted my back
I admire his way of thinking, his smiles and positivity is really contagious, "Yeah!" with the same energy output, I put a thumbs up as well
Although we were happy about our success and everything, the news on TV didn't told us anything about a missing person
We only knew the night when we were called back into another emergency meeting...
There were some exceptions of others not joining the meeting because they're currently focussing on recovery
Some were seriously injured, like sir nighteye. Thankfully no one died during the mission
And at the meeting, those who were present, was in for a shocking news
