3rd P.O.V

A school bell rang, the last time for today, many students were excited to go to their dormitory and relax.

"Alright class that would be the end of our lesson for today, don't forget to do the assignment I've given you." Instantly the class filled with misery while a few of them accepted it with glee

They packed their bags, wait for their friends and quickly head out. Most of them went straight to the dorm while one person had other plans.

His plan well...

"Alright that would be three hundred and thirty yen"

The same boy gave the amount and left with the food he bought without saying anything.

Walking around his way and turning corners, he made it.

The hospital, for the third time this week.

Walking to the receptionist, he glared him down.

'Ah again?' was what went through the receptionist's mind

"I'm sorry kid like I told yo-"

"The kid..." His sentence was cut off

A moment of confusion and silence

"The kid... Eri." The boy continued with an even scarier glare.

Realization hits and the receptionist quickly told him the room he was looking for

He made his way again for the second time to meet Eri

What was his purpose? Even the receptionist didn't have an answer for it.

One knock,

And another.

It was enough to inform the person inside the room, that there was a visitor

Yes, there were, but who it was surprised her. She never thought this person right here would come and visit her though she was hoping he would

And she greatly appreciates it...

Because she wishes to see oddly similar ruby-red eyes.

It reminded her of her dear sister, whose existence was still unknown to the world...

As she was focusing on his eyes, the teenage boy made his way in and sat on the stool beside her bed and table

He placed his book bag beside him and the new stuff on the table, casually taking out the inside

No words were spoken between the two, and they don't mind it. The silence

Eri and her curious self watch his every move. Him taking a seat to him taking out..... a box?

With the box's top blocking her view, her curiosity piqued, and picked up a pleasing smell

From the moment he entered the room already smell sweet but there was a different smell coming from the box

Gently he placed a plate of a cutout pie on the overbed table in front of her

Eri looked at it... Wondering... And changed her gaze to him, those red ruby eyes she missed

He sighed and grabbed a plastic fork, cutting a small piece of the pie and reaching it to her with his free hand just below the fork.

"It's apple pie," plainly he told her.

"apple?" Eyes lighting up with stars in them

With a raised of his brow waiting for her to eat, she finally did.

The moment the sweet taste of apple pie reached her tongue, she was delighted and hurriedly wanted more

Biting, and chewing. A struck in the head hit her...

A struck of realization...

She was enjoying the sweet flavors... alone...

Would she ever get to eat with her sister?

Would her sister feed her again?

Would Ema be with eri???

"Ema"

Like a trigger, her head turned to him

"Who's ema?"

Eyes widen. Tears formed. She jumped to his lap and hold his clothes firm. Shaking, Whining, Crying, Let everything out.

Like she did with Ema for comfort, she did it with him.

He let the little traumatized kid crumple his shirt and soaked it with tears.

Eri wants to tell him. Eri wants to tell him to save her. Bring her back.

Eri wants to rescue Ema.
