▶ Walking in the Wind ~ One Direction

Exhausted yet refreshed by their day's activities, the group of ten friends sat in a fancy restaurant for dinner, idle chatter going on. Laughter filled the air with fast paced humour and repartees.

Tae ordered two bottles of the best wine and a charcuterie board for them to enjoy. They had a rooftop booth to themselves, in the crisp cold air, overlooking the ocean. A lighthouse shone in the distance.

They ordered their food. Taehyung insisted Jin to get all his favourites, as it was his day. Jin refused but the others agreed with Tae and made him get whatever he desired to eat.

"You have a rich palate, Hyung!" Jimin mused. "Most of these flavours are something which wouldn't normally be eaten together but they still taste exceptional!"

"He's not a chef for no reason!" Namjoon smiled proudly. He ordered dessert, caramel custard which Seokjin cut like a cake and everyone took a piece. Two violinists played happy birthday for him.

"This was a memorable birthday! I'm happy I could spend it here with you guys! Thanks Kook and Yoongi for planning this," Jin smiled.

"Aw, he's being mushy!" Jisoo chuckled.

"And we'd plan more of these, Jin Hyung don't you worry!" Yoongi said serenely.

The topic inevitably went to their upcoming enlistment. Yoongi had several questions to ask which Jungkook listened to attentively as well.

"I thought you'd do your masters first, Yoonie?" Jimin asked, confused. "Are you changing your mind?"

"I'm just asking, Minnie. My plan is still what it was," he said gently. Jimin and him had talked about enlisting together as well. It was Jimin's idea as didn't want to be at their home alone.

Jisoo talked excitedly about her upcoming trip to Spain.

"Hoba, are you going too?" Namjoon asked.

"I don't even know, man. I already took a few days off. The spring auditions start in January, I don't know if I can manage."

"I've been wanting him to come with me too! But apparently he's too much of a dedicated professor to skip more days," Jisoo said sadly. "I'm proud of him but I think he'd be doing the students a favour."

Jimin hummed, nodding enthusiastically.

"I can attest to that! Hoseok Hyung - I promise you me Yeonjun, Soobin and Eunwoo would definitely not mind if you take a whole week off in January!"

Hoseok laughed, shaking his head.

"That's more like it! Thank you, little mochi!" Jisoo cheered.

"Yah, all my students are lazy and spoilt!"

"It is what it is, Hyung." Jimin shrugged.

"And what about you, Chim? How's your new job going so far?"

"Oh, I'm yet to start. I'll be joining once I get back, so I'll let you know if I like it there," Jimin said.

Bright said with Tae leaving, he wasn't sure about moving to Korea. But now he had another reason. Kiara blushed when he said that, looking right at her.

"Sheesh, Bright, we could make another platter with all that cheese," Taehyung snickered, nudging him. Kiara laughed and Bright flipped him off.

"Come on Bright Hyung, Kiara is the only reason you'd come to Seoul? I'm hurt," Jungkook playfully wiped a fake tear.
