Jungkook didn't bring up Jimin again.
Taehyung wanted to. He couldn't get the thought out of his head, not because he doubted Kook but because he hadn't received a confirmation that Jungkook wanted to continue the long distance.
The following week, Jungkook was glued to Tae's side.
It made Tae incredibly happy. They made love whenever and wherever they could and it was amazing. Jungkook planned a date every alternate night - they visited the best places of Seoul and clicked tons of pictures.
On the nights they were home, Jungkook taught him a few basic dishes to cook for himself, with ingredients that would be easy to get in Paris. Taehyung messed up several times until he got the hang of it.
One night ended up in a food fight. After which they had ended up having steamy shower sex. It was one of Tae's favourite moments.
Jungkook helped him pack and sort out his last minute shopping, after he came back from the clinic. Tae made sure he packed the photo album Seokjin gifted, as well as the acrylic plaque. They would be his happy memories to carry to Paris.
What Tae didn't know was Jungkook cried in the shower everyday. He just wanted to remain strong for Tae because he knew, if he cried, the model would find it harder to leave. And he absolutely didn't want that so he held himself together.
He had contemplated moving out of the penthouse too. Living alone where there's so many memories of them together, would drive him nuts.
"What are you thinking, Taehyungie?" Jungkook cooed instead, running his fingers on his features.
"This. Us," Tae smiled softly. They were cuddled in front of the fireplace, Tae in Jungkook's lap.
"How much I will miss you. And also, still wondering if you really want to stay committed to me."
Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"Are you giving me a way out?"
"Is it bad that I am?" Taehyung sighed. "Look, I don't want you to have the pressure of a long distance if you're not ready for it."
"I know Tae. I thought my outburst last time was clear enough? I want this. I want you. And I'm not that horny to want sex all the time!"
Taehyung smiled.
"You're making me out to be a high schooler who only thinks with his dick! It's frankly quite insulting!" Jungkook pouted.
"So you're really gonna wait till we're reunited? Not look at anyone else romantically? For however long it takes?"
"TaeBear!" Jungkook cupped his face. "It's like you're wanting me to step away. What is it? Tell me the truth."
"I'm terrified," Tae whispered.
"Of?"
"That I'm going to lose you. So, if you walk away now, it'll hurt less."
