Chapter 28

Vidhi's POV

It's Monday again.  I hate Mondays but it's ok work is the main priority. I freshened up moved towards my office. I prepared coffee for him and went to his cabin

"Sir, your coffee"

"Thanks Vidhi"

I was going when suddenly he stopped me

"Vidhi wait"

"What happened sir? Is coffee is bad?"

"No, I want you to be my partner in Mr. Singhania's business party" he said  looking at the file

"But, why me sir" I said desperately

"Because you are my P.A, you have to go with me" he said grinning

"Okay"

"I will pick you up at 7 PM, be ready"

"Hmm"

It's nice that I will get to spend some time with him, but I don't have any dress for the party. Suddenly he called me

"Vidhi, I will send a drees to you, You will wear it at the party"

He hung up the call as usual, not waiting for my response. But okay, my problem is solved. When I went home, I saw a parcel and opened it. It has a beautiful black sequins gown, it has lace work on the waist side. It's so beautiful. I changed into it and did a little makeup and put my hair open. And I heard a knock on the door.

"Ready?" he said looking devilishly handsome in that black tuxedo. I wasn't able to divert my eyes from him.

"Hmm"

"Let's go" he said moving towards his car. He didn't even compliment me

"You are looking beautiful Vidhi" he said keeping his eyes on the road, the whole time

"Thanks"

We reached the venu and went towards the hall. There were many successful businessman and   entrepreneurs at the party. I was feeling a little odd there because I have never been to a huge party like this. He excused himself and went to talk to Mr. Singhania. When I saw Varun waving at me from the other side, I went there

"Hi Vidhi, you here?" he said hugging me suddenly. I hugged him back

"Hi, I came with Ishaan"

"Oh, would you like to dance with me"
he said giving his hand to me like a gentleman

"Ya sure" I accepted his hand and we moved went to the dance floor

His one hand was on my waist and my one hand was on his shoulder. We were dancing whole heartedly. I felt a heated gaze on when I looked in that direction, I saw Ishaan glaring at me in fury. He was holding a glass of wine and he crushed it so hard that it broke in his hand. Hearing the noise, everyone looked at him including Varun.

"What happened Mr. Ishaan, are you ok?" Mr. Singhania asked him

"Yeah I am fine, it is just small cut" he said and went from there.

I tried to call him , but he did not pick up my call or see my messages. Oh god what should I do now? I am not feeling good.

I tried to get behind him. But Varun stopped me

"Where are going Vidhi?"

"Ishaan, he is injured, I don't even know where he went, I'm worried about him"

"But, why? Do you both know eachother?"

"Yes"

I told him full story of what we were to each other, when we met and what happened in between us

"Oh, so you are the girl whom he kept talking about all the time"

"What?"

"When he moved to Delhi, he always told me about you being his love of life"

"Oh" I said hiding my blush

"You can blush, don't hide it. Do you know he loves you so much! He can die for you " 

"And I am the idiot who didn't realise his love for me, I'm so bad"
I said sobbing

"Hey, don't cry come I'll drop you to your home" he said wipping my tears

"But Ishaan?"

"I will find him, don't worry"

"Okay"

I was convincing Varun that I'd go by myself, but he didn't listened and we sat in his car

"Vidhi, I wanted a suggestion from you!"

"For what?"

"A.. actually I have a girlfriend and I want to gift her something special. Can you suggest me something?"

"Oh.. you have a girlfriend! why haven't you told me earlier?" I asked him shocked written on all over my face.

"Sorry" he said blushing

"Okay, I think you should give her a hand written letter. Girls just love hand written letters, even I love them"

"Thankyou so much Vidhi"

"Welcome"

We reached my home and I waved him bye.
