They told me that you were just playing,
and I'm just another girl you're seeing.
They told me that you were a mere illusion,
and it left me in deep confusion.
They told me that I should just left you,
before you're leaving me torn in two.
They told me things that made me think twice about you,
I listened to them and that was exactly how I lost you.
