The Promise

All Night Long

Me , Ally and Cathy went up to my room and I put down my bag and I was about to say something when Alex came into the room .
He put down his bag and and sat on my desk.
We just looked at him and he said " What ?".

"Get out ". We said at the same time .
"No way. I what to know what you guys are planning to do ".
"Alex . This isn't some war ". Cathy said .
"I know ". Alex said .
We just kept looking at him , waiting to leave .

"Alex ! ". Cathy said
"Please , I wont tell anyone ".
We looked at him and I saw that he was telling the truth.
"Beth , would he tell anyone ?". Cathy asked.
"Why are you asking me . He said that he wont ".

"But you know him better than us ".
"That is why I told you guys that I know one of you guys better ". He said as he was looking at me .
"Fine. He is  telling the truth. He won't tell anyone ".
"Okay ".
And then we started to discuss what we were going to do for Monday 's class .

Alex gave us some really fun things to do .
He said that we should not expect him to be excited for the games and the lessons.
When we were done talking about school stuff , Alex came by me and said "So Beth , let's do it tomorrow ".

"Do what tomorrow ?  " . I asked
"He is obviously talking about the date ".
"Ohh, uhh okay " .
With that , he left .
"Awwww ". Both Ally and Cathy said at the same time.
"Stop it . You guys are the one who suggested this ".

"We know . We should have just let you ask him ". Cathy said
"But we all know that wouldn't have happened ". Ally said .
"Whatever ". I said and went to wash up .
We went downstairs to eat dinner .
Once we got downstairs , Alex was in the  kitchen with my parents.

My parents saw Cathy and Ally and they asked "Are you two staying for dinner ?".
"Yeah ". Ally said
"And also , can we sleepover at your house for the rest of week ? ". Cathy asked .
"In this house ?". My mom asked .
"Yeah ". Cathy said

"Okay ".
"And can you please tell Alex to be on his best behavior ". We all said while we were going to the table .
"Alex , don't do anything that will make them feel uncomfortable ". Alex 's mom said .
"Yeah , just control that person down there ". My dad said

"Ewww ". Me , Cathy and Ally all said .
Alex was just there laughing .
"Thats not what they mean " .He said after his laughter died down a bit .
"Then , what do they mean ? ". My mom asked me .
"They mean in class . We got picked to help Mrs . Carson teach half the school ".

My parents and Alex 's mom stopped what they were doing and payed  full attention to us and then my mom said "Congrats sweeties . That's huge ".
"Yeah , but it was last minute thing ".
My mom was going to say something when my dad said "So , if you guys got to do this huge thing for the princpal , why should Alex behave ? ".

"Because me , Cathy and Ally got picked to do it . Not Alex . He ditched our class but soon got caught by Mrs.  Carson ".
"Alex !". His mom scolded him .
"Whatever ". He said shrugging it off. 
"Listen to whatever Beth , Cathy and Ally say to do ". Alex's mom said .
He didn't answer and we all ate dinner .

They soon left and then we went to my room and played some games .
Cathy and Ally soon fell asleep and me and Alex were wide awake .
My phone buzzed and I  saw it was a text from Alex. 
I looked him and he was upside down .

Our was I the one who was upside down ?
Anyways .... I looked at me and said "We are right here . We can talk not text ".
"Just open it ". He said .
I opened it and it said "Hey ".
I laughed at what he wrote and Ally twisted in her sleep .

I covered my mouth and texted him back  B- 😂😂😂 What do you want ?".
A- Nothing.  I am just bored .
B-Then go to sleep .
A-Nope .
I closed my phone and said "Okay then goodnight ".
"No , lets talk . Its been awhile since we have talked  ".

It was true so we talked . Not on our phones though.
We just talked about random things .
We also talked about our date tomorrow. 
Or more like today because Ally and Cathy woke up said "Morning ".
"Morning ". They both said .

"Its morning already ". Alex said .
I just laughed because me and Alex talked all night .
We got up did our morning stuff and made breakfast .
