The Promise

Who Will Get Hurt ?

**The Next Morning **
*Beth's mother*

Gina is Alex's mother .
Ethan is Beth's father .
Kelly is Beth 's mother.

"We should go see why they are not here yet ," Gina said .
"Okay ," I said .
We went to their door and knocked . We knocked a few more times until we decided to open the door .
When we walked in , we accomplished our goal .

"That's why they were not here ,"Ethan said .
They were sleeping , together  cuddling with each other with a blanket covering their naked bodies .
We all took photos before we left .
We went back to the restaurant and while we  ate our food , we gushed about how cute they are together .

When we were done eating , we left the restaurant .

**Beth**

When I woke up , I felt someone watching me .
I turned around and saw Alex awake and smiling .
"Morning beautiful ," Alex said .
"Morning ," I said smiling widely at him .
We just stared at each other for awhile until I said ,"We should get ready for breakfast ".
"Yeah , we should . It's 12pm ..
Alex said and trailed off of his sentence when he realized what time it is .

"We missed breakfast ! " I said in shock sitting upright in the bed .
"We missed breakfast but we can have  lunch together ," Alex said.
"Okay ," I said as I wrapped the blanket around me and went to the bathroom with my clothes.
When I came out , Alex went in .
When we he came out we went to eat lunch in the restaurant .

When we were done , we went back to our room and on my way there , I had to convince Alex to come swim with me . When we reached the room , he finally agreed .
We put on our bathing suits and went to the pool area .
We then decided to dry off and put on clothes to go see the country .

When we got off the boat , we explored the country of Labadee Haiti.

Then we decided to go to one of  the beaches while we explored .
"Wanna swim again ?" Alex asked .
"Sure ," I said .
We took of our clothes and ran into the ocean .

We had a really fun time .
We then went back to the boat to freshen up because to we had to go to dinner after .
When it was time for dinner , we went to the restaurant .
"Hi mom and dad ," I said .
"Hi sweetie ," My mother said .
"So now that today is our last day here . How was the cruise ? Was it fun ?"My dad asked .

"Thank you for bringing us on this cruise . I had a really great time ," I said. 
"You're welcome ," My dad said .
While we were eating our food , my mother said ," Is this one  of the reasons why you are thankful of coming on the cruise ?" . She then showed us a picture of Alex and I sleeping together. 

We saw it and we chocked on our food .
We looked at it again then we looked at each other .
"You came in our room ! " Alex and I said at the same time .
"You were both late for breakfast ," My mother said .
I was really embarrassed .
"So , is that one of the reasons why ?" My mother asked again taking back her phone .

I just watched my plate and no one else .
Alex didn't say anything either .
"But just make sure that no one gets hurt ,"Alex's mother said about Jake and Anna but mostly Jake .
We finished our dinner and before we went to sleep , we went around the boat one last time .
We went to one of the pools and dipped our feet in the water and sat on the edge .

My phone then rang and I saw that it was Cathy, Ally and Jake in a three way call .
"Should I answer ?" I asked Alex .
"I don't know because after , the idea of us would make you feel guilty ," Alex said .
"But I do already ... feel guilty ," I said .
"I know and I'm sorry ," Alex said. 
"Answer it ," He said .

And I did. 
"Hey ," I said .
"Beth!," Cathy and Ally screamed and the scream was repeated in their phones. 
"Are you guys all at one place ?" I asked .
"Yeah. We're at Cathy's house ," Ally said. 
"How are you ," Jake asked and something told me that he was'nt okay .

"I've been great ," I said. 
They told me all about what they did while after sometime I walked back to my room .
When I got there , Alex was there .
I also didn't mention that while I was talking to them , Alex left .
I didn't know if he was mad or upset .
"Well I have to go to bed ," I said .
"See you tomorrow ,"They said and we all hung up .

"You left " I said as I went to Alex's bed and sat on it .
"Yeah . I was feeling cold so I left ," Alex said .
"Ohh ," I said .
I laid flat on Alex's bed and cuddled with him .
"You don't feel guilty ?" Alex asked me  .
"Surprisingly , no . I feel like something happened to Jake too ," I said. 

"Well goodnight ," He said .
"Night ," I said as I got more comfortable in Alex's chest .
You should have a nice good sleep because tomorrow and the next few days will be full of pain and hurt my conscience said .
