There was a lot of things going on in my mind. I was doing everything I was asked to do, mechanically. I just vaguely remember the rituals. The only thing that I could register was, when the priest concluded that the wedding was completed.
I turned to look at Siddharth, and all I could see was happiness. He deserves someone less complicated than me. As soon as the wedding was over, we left for India in a private jet. Meanwhile dad said, he wanted to talk to me.
Dad:- I'm asking you something for the first time Anu. Promise me that you won't let your inner turmoil ruin, what could be a beautiful relation. We both are over-thinkers, even though it is beneficial, don't use it for everything. Be critical about outsiders, not family members.
