And today I feel kind of bad
Media running everywhere
And yet
Only I know what really happened

I'm part of Texas ya know
One of the greatest states
But that doesn't mean that we're completely safe
I felt a fire today
A power plant they say
I saw it
Go up in flames
I feel bad
But what else can I say?

And around here I have a diverse population
So dense in fact
That I'm a little afraid
That I'd be a target
But what else can I say?

I'm America
I've heard your threats day after day
I don't want to go to war
But if it's what I have to do
Then I better tell you
That I have a record
I know that we've been fighting
But now I need you all to come home
There are things happening here
I wish media wouldn't have control
No one wants mass hysteria
But at the same time
Who wants lies?
Of course us Americans
Aren't ready to give up our pride
Who's next on the dashboard
I've heard Massachusetts had something today
But who knows the whole story
Not the media

And we appreciate that you're believing in what you have to say
But we don't agree with you
So we're not too happy with you
Fellow friends,
I don't want to hurt anyone
I just want peace

But I won't say that I'm not scared
Even though I know my towns not endangered
I still have friends out there
Australia please be safe
Philippines my parent's home place
I have family in Korea
And friends all over the place
