After the dinner, I went upstairs with Alexander because Clyde and his family were discussing a family matter over Claire. Though, Clyde insisted that I can join them as I'm also a part of the family now. I refused it, I know I can't help them on this matter and beside Alexander looks so sleepy already. I'm just gonna wait until Clyde comes back and explain to me what's really the problem.
" Mommy, will Dad still be going to read me a story before I sleep? " Alexander asked with tired eyes.
He already took a shower and was wearing his Spider-Man pajamas. I pull the blanket halfway from his racing car bed to invite him in. He quickly crawled on the bed and lay beside me. I kissed his forehead and pulled the blanket up to his chest.
" How about it's mommy's turn to read you a bedtime story? " I smiled at him and took the storybook on the bedside table.
" Ok, mommy." Alexander embraced me and tucked himself closer to my body. I brush his hair and start reading him the story entitled. The adventure of Robinson Crusoe, I was in a few chapters of the book when I saw him close his eyes and fall asleep. I kissed him one last time on his cheek before placing back the book on the bedside table. I felt the lead of my eyes heavy, and slowly I also fell into my deep slumber.

I woke up from a soft caress on my cheek.
When I opened my eyes, I saw Clyde staring at me lovingly. He was sitting next to me and his face looked so tired. I itch my hands up to caress his cheek. I saw him close his eyes for a second to savor the warmth of my palm.
" It's beyond happiness seeing you and my son sleeping peacefully with my own eyes. I really, really. Regret not being with you guys from the beginning. I think it would be wonderful memories that I will pay billions of dollars for if someone can help me bring back the past." he solemnly said while staring sadly at me. I sat up and cupped his both cheeks, so he could look straight in my eyes.
" Clyde, stop looking back in the past. I'm here now, and your son too. Don't let the past keep on hurting you inside. No matter what we did and the decisions that we made in the past, it's all over now. What matters most to me, is the fact that you love us. And now I know why I can't see other men, it's because of you.

Pleased, stop going back to the past and let's make our present memorable to fill in the gap that we missed before?" I pleaded with him solemnly. When I felt a warm tear falling on his cheeks, it was then that I realized he was silently crying.

It's heartbreaking. I pulled him in, leading his head to rest on my chest while he silently cried. Whatever happened in that meeting? I know, it triggers Clyde's to act like this. Though, some things are still a puzzle in my head about why he didn't show up to me before. I'm just going to set aside those thoughts because right now, I can see how emotionally devastated he is. When he pulled away from my hug and stood up. I smiled at him and reached for his hand.
" Let's sleep, Clyde." I said, leading him out of Alexander's room, and brought him into his old room. When the door closed, I snaked my hands around his neck and kissed him passionately. He returned the kiss aggressively, grasping the back of my head firmly, so he could devour my lips. I cried a small moan when I felt him bite my lower lips, demanding for an entrance to my mouth.
