chapter 10 : Unresolved

dwayne is in his own room at the moment.

sai's face still remain in my head. dwayne walk back and forth. thinking why does she think she doesn't have a right to remember my face? why's that he forgot my face? what happened exactly? I know she already said her grandparents condition but why I still feel like there's something missing.

should I just say & told her "hey sai it's me dwayne. the boy who taught you how to play the guitar." his face reddened "your first love" a smile creep on his lips & he laughed

but I can't just say "I'm dwayne your first lo...love" as he continues thinking. "wait. I don't want her to fall for the old me, I'm still immature at that time."

just reminiscing how I act like a kid. geez! that was embarrassing! why did I even act like that, suddenly grabbing her hands. that was embarrassing!

"but... I want to make her fall for the present me. the mature dwayne. the dwayne she loves was in fact my old self. but this time for sure I'll make her fall head over heels in love with me, the way she make me fall for her. I'll make sure she'll remember me this time."

that was awkward. kent suddenly burst about my first love. "I wonder where is he now. I want to see him again."

I heard a knock on my door "the doors unlocked" my younger twin shin peek his head

"shin." shin walks towards my bed & sit beside me "ate did you already drink your medicine?" sai nods

"do you still think about your first love ate?" she smiled weakly "ate its not like you broke your promise to him. we cameback to there house but the guard said they already move out."

"shin maybe if we come a little earlier at that time maybe we can catch them." shin looked at me "I can ask mom to -" sai cuts her off

"you can't shin. please don't ask mom. I don't want mom & dad to found out my secret."

"why is that you don't want them to found out. in my opinion it will be easier for us to find them ate." sai smile softly

"once our parents & grandparents found out that I love someone else don't you think they will just shut up." sai sighed

"remember kuya vince case, the moment our grandparents found out about kuya first love they immediately set a date & time for Ate Ivy & Kuya Vince blind date."

"kuya is lucky cause his wife is head over heels in love with him. if I'm going to date someone, I want to date him with mutual feelings. I want him to love the real me." she smiled

"I want to know him better. if I'm gonna fall, I want to fall in love with a guy who will love me for who I really am not for what I have." sai stare at the walls

"money can buy anything, you can buy anyone but once you go broke, people will eventually leave you, they only hang out with you cause you have the money, but money can't give you happiness & true love. those things are priceless."

"shin we don't hold our fate. we can't say it's final until we see the end of the road. we don't know what will happen in the future." she sigh

"what if they're the type who we met for a reason, it's either they are blessing or a lesson. people come and go, others stay & others leave a permanent scar."

shin looked at his twin sister & hugs her a tighter. God I wanted to take away her pain, if I can at least lessen the pain, if only.

this is too much she doesn't deserve to suffer like this. "shin I'm okay, you don't have to worry anymore." she hug her twin brother back but she also loosen their hug & she smile reassuring her twin. "see? hehe" sai force a smile

"ate, you can always fake your smile but you can't fake your feelings. I know you because I'm your twin" shin pinch sai cheeks

sai & shin notice that their kuyas been eavesdropping when they heard Kent's voice.

shin walks towards the door & forcefully open the door.. bang!
"ya!... shin! that hurts!. kuya brian & kenji both of you are heavy." kent shout

"sorry Kent but I think I sprained my ankle" kyle & kenji said jokingly "for God sake kuya I'm dying." everyone laughs

"it's your punishment!" they messed Kent hair "kuya not the hair!" everyone laughs & join to messed kent hair

"kuya what are you doing in here?" sai asked they push kent & whisper 'you go'

"well you see. we decided to sleep in here, we brought lots of food, video games, your favorite horror movies & drinks." kent excitedly said

sai's so touched to her brother affection, people might judge my kuyas like they were Casanova, heart breaker & playboy but truth is they are the most gentle, kind, warm & sincere people that you'll met in your life

"oh! kent you made sai cry!" all of them are in panic & rushed to sai's bed. kent take his handkerchief in his pocket

"kent is your handkerchief clean?" kyle asked in a teasing tone "of course kuya! I still haven't use this" everyone laughs "then when did you last time you use that?" everyone burst out laughing

"I change mine everyday! you know mom hates it if we doesn't have full set of handkerchief. mom said it's handy cause you won't know when will a girl cry."

"thank you kuya. I really am lucky to have a super sweet brother & a perfect family. I love you guys so much. " sai said

"group hugs!" shin shouted. "& don't forget to add 'my kuyas is the most handsome guy in the world." kent added

the jimenez boy twins started to fix & set the dvd. at first everyone's having a debate which one to watch but in the end they let their baby sister to choose, sai picked to re-watch all set of the resident evil.

kyle organised the food perfectly. kenji carry sai to sit in the floor, the jimenez siblings sit, side by side.

this scene is already normal for them. they always got each other back when someone is in trouble they will do something to cheer up their brother & sister.

if someone is in pain, sad, in trouble or hurt they will bear the same thing. they hated it so much if they can't help each other so as much as possible they wanted to lessen the pain.

there parents taught them 'if someone needed a hand don't hesitate to extend your hand. don't ask something in return, just help them without asking for anything in exchange. with those simple way, it can create a trust. trust isn't a candy that someone can give easily to anyone, you need to earn it, that way you'll know who will stay on your side when it's your time to face the problem'
