chapter 28 : pinky promise

"kuya where did you go this morning?" sai asked dwayne, kenji & kent

"the basketball coach & captain wanted us to join the team, I heard they also asked kuya brian & kyle to join the team" kent said

"what's your answer then?" sai asked but before kent can answer her the teacher is already in infront of the classroom.

"okay class be ready" their pe teacher said "kent softly pat sai head & mouth "later I'll tell you" kent wink & sai nodded

sai wanted to ask dwayne if he also decided to join the team she knows her brothers will join because they always get scout by different school & coach cause they are talented.

because she can't wait to hear it later she gets a piece of paper & wrote

sai : "dwayne did you accept the coach offer (˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵) ?"

sai silently slip the paper in his desk. dwayne looked at her. she pointed the paper under his desk without looking at him, afraid being caught by the teacher.

he open the paper & read it, dwayne grin (づ￣ ³￣)づ

dwayne : "are you curious? "

cause he wanted to tease her a little he poked sai hands & give his reply ･◡･

sai read what dwayne wrote & looked at him. dwayne just smile at her & she looked away blushing. dwayne didn't expect her to blush so both of them are looking away & blushing

sai : "is it wrong for me if I wanted to know if you join the team? if you're going to ask me, I want you to join with my brothers. I know I sounded selfish but I want to see & watch you play in the same court & same team with my kuya." sai poked dwayne hand

dwayne read sai's reply. he lean his face in his desk trying to hide his happiness & blushing face. 'shit I think I can't control my smile. I think my face is really red' he thought to himself. luckily sai's not looking at him (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄

dwayne start to write something

dwayne : "you're not being selfish. to be honest I'm happy that you thought of me, thank you :) about the basketball. yeah I decided to join but I have a favor to ask. hope you'll agree? :)"

dwayne poked sai hand. sai's been bitting her lower lips so that her smile won't show but deep inside she's enjoying this exchanging letter with dwayne. (⺣◡⺣)♡

sai open the letter.

sai : "sure. anything as long as I can grant it. hope that's not a hard favor though XD"

sai poked dwayne leg cause dwayne is covering his face with his hand

dwayne : "if ever I get accepted in the team, can you.. I mean will you watch me play?"

dwayne saw sai hand open so he decided to put it in her hand

sai : "I know you'll get accepted, the coach won't ask you if you aren't good at basketball, he sees potential in you, so believe in yourself. btw you shouldn't ask me like that. because I WILL DEFINITELY come & watch you practice & play :)). it's a promise, not a favor granted.

sai poked dwayne legs she noticed dwayne was startled. she softly chuckle

dwayne open the paper & read sai reply, he bite his lower lips 'shi* I can't control my feelings, I'm so damn happy. those butterflies in my tummy are so damn happy'

dwayne : "then it's a promise. I want you to see my basketball. I'll always wait for you in my practice, practice game & the tournament. give me your pinky (▰˘◡˘▰)"

dwayne poked sai wrist & put it in her hand. sai looked at dwayne & show her pinky. "my pinky" sai whisper. dwayne nodded. dwayne also showed his pinky "ah!"

everyone looked at sai "ms jimenez do you need something?" her teacher asked "nothing ma'am I just remembered that I forgot to feed my dog he..he..he" sai scratches her cheeks

"pets not allowed in the school" her teacher said "yes mam, yesterday is sunday right? I was in my parents house & I forgot to feed my pet before I went to my room last night. I bet he's hungry"

sai said & everyone believe. dwayne & her kuyas tries to hold their laughter cause sai is lying, they didn't leave the villa cause their parents is on vacation

sai poked dwayne legs & show her pinky to dwayne. dwayne gently take & hold it 'pinky promise' they whisper

** in the canteen

"sai we will just talk to the coach you can go to the canteen first with shin & kris" sai nodded

shin is not the sporty type, he prefers music than sports, kris is also not the sporty stuff, he prefers playing piano instruments

kent & kenji is already on their way outside, dwayne decided to go back & tell sai "wait for me in the canteen" sai nodded

"dwayne leggo!" kent shout, dwayne run & wave his goodbye at sai. sai blush "sai" yuki & kier called her, yuki saw everything he hates it when sai blush for someone other than him

"stop blushing. it doesn't suit you" yuki said & sai looked away "you're just jealous" shin answered & drag her hand gently "lets go ate, reina's in the canteen now" sai nodded

yuki seat in front of sai but sai's been ignoring her, she still remember what yuki told her this morning '& I love you too' still ringing in her mind, she shakes her head

"sai" dwayne gently pats her head, sai looked at him & smiled "so? whats the good news?" sai asked

"baby before you always ask us first. since when did you replace my place." kent said jokingly, sai face reddened "so what happened...dway..kuya" everyone laughs

kenji pinch her nose "we accept the offer but in a condition of going to the try out. we hate special treatment so we decided to go to the original process of being picked & be part of the game." sai nodded

"I heard starting tomorrow till friday we don't have any classes" Lau said "why kuya" abbie asked

"I heard they say for the students to decide on what team or club to join, some will also try the try out like us" ico said

jhe, tel, abbie & reina will be in the fashion design club. kris, shin, ghelo & ico will be in the music & instrument club but in different department like sing, dance & playing of different kinds of instruments.

Lau & kier will be in the tennis club. yuki will be in swimming club. brian, kyle, kenji, kent & dwayne's in the basketball team

"now that we already know each club & team to take, how about you sai?" tel asked & everyone looked at her

"I don't know if I should go to the music department or volleyball team" sai answer

"just follow your heart & we will support you" dwayne said & everyone nodded
