i scrolled through instagram, liking and reposting some fan edits that appeared in my feed and on my explore page. i yawned and rubbed my eyes sleepily. suddenly my phone vibrated, signaling that someone was calling me.
the caller ID read: eth<3
i smiled and answered the phone.
"hey eth." i said calmly. "hi baby." he responded, also quietly, which surprised me because he's usually pretty loud. not as loud as grayson of course, but still loud.
"you okay?" i asked, yawning again. he hummed. "i'm just tired." i chuckled softly. "then take a nap or something."
"well, i was trying to. but i realized something." he stopped for a second. "i can't sleep...without you." the way he mumbled the last words made my heart melt. "awe." i blushed, even though he couldn't see me. "so, i guess i'm just asking for you to come over. so we can nap together." i yawned again.
"eth?" he hummed. "i hate to say it but i'm so tired and i don't wanna get out of bed." "y/n? are you serious?" i whispered a "yeah" making him sigh. "baby, as soon as you get here i'll wrap you up and you can sleep for as long as you want." not gonna lie that sounded very nice. i groaned softly and sat quiet for a minute. "but efin, it's so far." i used my baby voice which usually worked on him. "no no, not this time." i pouted out my lip. "pwease." there was a moment of silence before he groaned quite loudly. "fine!" i squealed happily which earned a small laugh from the other side of the phone. "see you in a bit baby." we both said goodbye and i set my phone on the bed before getting up.
i changed into one of his sweatshirts i had stolen and tossed my hair into a messy bun before climbing right back under the covers.
soon enough there was a quiet knock on my bedroom door. ethan walked in with a sleepy smile on his face. he slipped his shoes off and climbed in, wearing sweats and a t-shirt. he pulled me close to him and rest his head on mine.
"good night baby. sleep well." i smiled and shut my heavy eyes.
"good night."
