"ethan! e, come quick!" i heard heavy footsteps running up the stairs. "what is it? are you okay?" i leaned back on my hands, looking up at him. i nodded and put one hand on my growing stomach. "she's kicking." ethan gasped and kneeled down in front of me.
i grabbed his hand and put it on my stomach where i felt the kicks. i felt another one and he looked up at me, his eyes bright. "oh my god baby." i smiled and held his hand in the same place, hoping she would kick again.
"does it hurt?" i shrugged. "it's a little uncomfortable, but it's bearable." he nodded, smiling.
"hello princess." he began to talk to the baby girl, making me smile. "i feel ya. you already ready to come out? well, you can't quite yet, as much as i want that." he looked up at me and smiled. he got up and sat next to me on the bed.
"haven't even met her yet and i already love her." i smiled and leaned in, placing a chaste kiss to his lips.
"i love you ethan." he smiled and kissed me again.
"can't wait to meet our princess."
