Chapter 18
Jason's POV:
Aria and I are at the back of the set. She hands me her script.
"Did you really forget all the lines?" She questions. My eyes go wide like a deer in the headlights. I'm not sure whether I should nod or say something. I end up doing both.
"Y-Yes." I stutter out. I don't know why. I hate the fact that I stutter when I'm nervous.
"Don't stutter. People don't like it when you stutter." She says.
"Who is "peole" that you speak of?" I ask in a very British way.
"I don't know." She laughs. I start laughing with her. She's so pretty. How is she so pretty? I could k-
"Hey! Earth to Jason!" She starts waving her hand in my face. I blink and it's gone. "Are you okay?"
I nod, blinking several more times. I step back, trying to gain some composure.
"Yeah, yeah. Where were we?" I ask. She points to a word on the page. I take a deep breath and
"Come on! We're wasting daylight here people!" The director yells. Aria jumps at the sudden booming voice. She jumps into me and I hug her without a second thought.
