Chapter 20
Aria's POV:
I'm exploring with Justin after I finally have a day off from filming. Seeing the city hustling and bustling feels me with joy. It's warm but cold enough for a light coat. Sitting down at a cafe, the smell of warm bread hits my nose.
"Do you like it here?" Justin asks. I look at him puzzling. I hold a hand up to my mouth and finish chewing. It seems like forever before I answer his question.
"I like it here. Working with Jason is nice." I try to keep it as vague as possible. He doesn't need to know all of what I think of him.
"I see the way you look at him." He gives me a puzzling look. I give him a confuse stare.
"Don't play dumb with me."
I must have missed the part where I give him all the details of my love life.
"Are you for real?"
He drops his fork. He must be really pissed now.
"I'm not stupid. Just admit you like him." I take a sip of my water.
"He is cute but I'm not going to ask him out. That's just asking for an HR nightmare."
We leave the cafe after we pick up our trash.
