Chapter 19
Aria's POV:
Jason is actually remembering his lines now. We finished shooting for the day. I couldn't be more excited.
"You ready to explore Paris?" Justin asked. He's coming into my trailer with an old t-shirt and basketball shorts on.
"You know that screams that you're a Canadian, right?" I respond with a question. He nods but doesn't say anything.
"I would've thought it would scream American." He laughs at his own joke.
"Okay, that was pretty funny." I admit, not holding in my laughter.
"You never laughed at my jokes before."
"You actually made it funny this time."
"What's going on with you and Jason?"
My brows narrow.
"Nothing is "going on" with me and him." I say. He gives me a look. I return with an are-you-kidding-me look.
"I swear, absolutely nothing is going on with him and me. We're just co-stars."
"Love interests.
"We're acting. This is our job." I say it like I'm talking to a kindergartener.
"I may not have known for that long but I know when someone has a crush on someone else." He says this matter-of-factly.
"This is ridiculous." I mumble. "I do not have a crush on my co-star."
He laughs,
"It's so obvious when you're lying."
"Not it's not." My voice cracks. He raises his eyebrows.
"I'm tired."
"Well, you did just finish a ten hour day."
"I should probably sleep. Explore tomorrow?"
He nods and leaves my trailer.
He mumbles something but I don't hear it.
