Killer Cruise

Bonus Chapter- Jin

(A/n: I feel like there wasn't enough crack or enough Jin in the book, and since the two go hand-in-hand here's a chapter dedicated to Jins dad jokes throughout the journey)

Jin POV:

"Don't leave me again!" Jin yelled after our 2 rented cars, Jungkooks laughs filling the air as he drove off with Hoseok, windows down and doors locked. The other two cars having already left.

"After all my work in raising you," he begrudgingly muttered under his breath.

They had rented cars to travel from the airport to the pier, the cruise hasn't even begun and they're already pulling pranks on Jin. Deep down he knew, this was probably only the start of the oncoming pranks.

His steps came to a halt, rolling luggage as well as he watched the cars drive over the horizon in dismay

It was in that moment Jin decided to annoy everyone with his classic dad jokes before they had a chance to annoy him.

All seven of them crowded against the huge window in their room, faces smooshed against the glass as they admired the ocean.

Jimin waved to the ocean, his fingertips brushing past Jins shoulder.

"Jimin-ah, what did the ocean say to the land?"

Confusion splattered across the youngers face, as far as he was concerned, oceans could not speak. He shrugged, lips pouted.

"Nothing, it just waved," Jin laughed so hard, the veins on the side of his neck stood out.

Jimin sighed, returning back to his waving "that joke is older than you are hyung,"

The light jab at Jins age made the olders laughing halt.

"Okay, okay. I have a new one then, one I just came up with," Jin confidently began "What is it called when Jimin waves?"

Jimins face twisted up in confusion at the mention of his name.

"Microwave," Jin busted out into another fit of laughter. Jimin playfully fumed, hiding his embarrassed face in his hand as he went on about how he's not small.

"Namjoon, do you think I'll manage to get a selfie with a shark while we're on the cruise?"

Namjoon looked up from his book, contemplating Jins idea, before ultimately shaking his head.

"We're too high off from the water for any sharks to be distinguishable in a selfie taken on deck or even against the window here," Namjoon tapped on their room window.

Jin sighed, having wanted to take a picture with a shark.

"If I took a picture with a shark, it would have become famous, no?"

"Yes, it would," Namjoon replied, closing his book. Something in his gut told him Jin wanted to speak of something more than just shark selfies.

"Do you know what happens to famous sharks?" Jin starts, pausing to build up the tension.

"They become starfish,"

Namjoon opened his book back up while Jins laughter fill the background.

"Ah Hyung, that was so lame!" Jungkook  commented as he whizzed past them on his way to the bathroom.

Jins laughter died down, right as it did static soon crackled from the speakers.
