Your POV:

"HYUNG!"

"Jungkook?" Taehyung asks himself before glancing at me, both of us running in at once, Lorraine tailing us.

Namjoon and the kiss assailant both hammered on the door, calling out Jungkook's name, Jungkook in turn calling out for his 'hyungs'

....and then he stopped, an eerie silence fills the air, Taehyungs eyes widen, completely abandoning my side he goes up to the two of them.

Kiss assailant in complete shock.

Namjoon on the other hand busy hitting the door with his shoulder... but it wasn't budging.

"Namjoon," the kiss assailant held him by his shoulder.

I've seen that man go from a 0 to a 100 in terms of his energy in a second but this was an entirely different energy, darker and foreboding, his pretty features, generally on the more dainty side now dipped in determination held a far more threatening look, edges sharp enough to cut you from just looking at him.

I blink and with just one swift blow the door came crashing down, everyone pours in, hovering over Jungkook, he was on the floor, paler than a sheet, eyes bloodshot, lips quivering.

Shock or trauma?

A small bottle, similar to that of which held the midazolam lay clasped in his palms, label-less and filled with a clear liquid.

Beneath it a note, Namjoon grabs it, face draining of colour as he read it, he handed it over to me.

For Jin. By the way, you four targets you're being watched.

A shiver ran down my spine. The three of them work on carrying Jungkook up onto the bed, Lorraine taking great interest in the note.

"By any chance, would you consider helping me now?" Her voice slightly taunting.

My gaze met Namjoons amid his final huff to get Jungkook on the bed. As if sensing my alarm he came over to us, letting Taehyung and the kiss assailant handle the rest.

"Do we have a problem here?"

Lorraine shook her head while I nodded. I didn't trust her yet, not one bit.

"I'm the investigator in charge of this case, my aim would be the apprehend the perpetrator before he does more harm like that," she flicks her palm in the direction of Jungkook, Namjoons apprehension dissolves "I need her co-operation along with the other targets, to catch him quicker,"

I expect a big fat 'no', Namjoon is calculative, he generally doesn't give into risks, so when he nods my brain short-circuited a little.

"They've hurt my family too often, I'll do whatever it takes for this to just stop,"

Fed-up and fragile, an odd combination, but the only combination that seemed to fit how he sounds in the moment.

"Thank you, and you (y/n)? I hear your friend Hannah is still missing?"

This is outright manipulative, but I do want Hannah back, so I agree.

"Alright, then I'll brief you two a little on who we're dealing with here, a psychopath,"

"Psy ..psycho ...path?" I watch the colour drain out of Namjoons face as he mutters the word.

Lorraine nods once "The murders are planned out and executed with percision, leaving almost no evidence traceable with the resources we have access to currently. Theres no regret or vengeance in the murders, what needs to be done is done but the bodies displayed like trophies. Indicating he views us, the passengers, as nothing but mere pawns to achieve a bigger goal, he chose this ship for a reason, it's all planned out,"
