A soft hand grazes my cheek, thinking its merely Lynne I flick her palm away but the palm returns, stroking my cheek.

Slowly my eyes peel themselves open, a woman with greying roots stared back, her dark skin wrinkle-free in spite of it.

Only moonlight poured in, glinting off a blade in her palms, one she ran along her fingers but drew no blood.

This must be a dream right?

The strange woman leans down "If you'd just listened like a good little girl I wouldn't have to go to such measures,"

Her voice gentle and smooth as a knife drags along the surface of my cheek, enough to sting but not enough to cut my skin.

"Three days, I'm giving you three days to come to me," the knife flicks against the apple of my cheek, the stinging more intense than before, my eyes shut as I grimace "two days is all I need to find Hannah but I'll give you an extra day to snuggle up with your boyfriend, consider it my gift, impersonator,"

Hannah? Where... impersonator?

"Who.." but when my eyes re-opened, no one was there. This is one weird dream, my eyelids grew heavy, my vision became darker ...huh, even in my dream all I want is sleep.

-

"OH MY GOD (Y/N)!" Hands grab onto me, trying to shake me awake, I swat them away having absolutely no desire to do daily life at the moment.

A finger prods my cheek, a dull pain spread along my entire cheek as it throbbed.

I open one eye, 3 faces slowly coming into view, each one looking at me as if I had Lazarus syndrome.

"What?" I groggily mumble, forcing my other eye open.

The three remain equal parts horrified and stunned, a still life painting with moving eyes watching me slide out of bed.

"All my stuff is still in the next room, I'll just go get it," I rasp out, not even glancing in the mirror as I made my way out.

The three of them trail after me like paparazzi, creeping about but without cameras.

Stifling a yawn I knock on their door, it's opened by Jimin, just as bedraggled as I am but with a tank top and shorts, a birds nest for hair. It isn't until he drags a palm across his face do his eyes land on me, instead of moving aside and letting me in a blood curdling scream leaves him as he slams the door.

Well that's one way to wake me up.

A jumble of noises and voices rise on the other side, the door opening once more this time with Hoseok in front, Jimin clinging behind him while peeking over his shoulder, Hoseok busy reassuring Jimin everything's fine. Jimin on the other hand chants that specific word.

"..hi?" I wave to Jimin, earning a squeak from him before he runs inside. Hoseok finally faces me, his relaxed and rested state immediately becoming high-strung as he too slams the door shut.

An earsplitting scream soon reverberates from the other side, only Hoseok can produce decibels that high. In fact his scream is so loud it gains a few angry neighbours marching out in their varying sleepwear to shout a few insults at me and what a ruckus I'm making before storming back inside.

... humanity is exactly why I didn't want to wake up.

Finally, the door opens a third time, this time it's Taehyung, worry infiltrating every feature on him. Pulling me inside, I'm whisked into a brief hug straight away.
