It's kind of funny when I think about it.
How happy you made me,
How easy it was for you to make me feel wanted,
How easy it was for you to fool me into believing,
That you were the one for me,
And I the one for you,
But you never wanted me right?
You just wanted to prove you could get me,
To make me fall utterly in love with you right?
How could I have been so naïve?
Thinking I was good enough for once in my life,
That I could change you from your womanizer ways.
But how wrong I was
For believing that you really loved me,
But you were just like the rest,
Only a dream too good to be true.
So tell me why did you do it?
Why waste all that time on someone as pathethic as me?
I wanted you to care,
To be the one for me,
Maybe my idea of love is too good for this cruel world.
