DEAR BROTHER (POEM 52)

I was never perfect  like you,

No one never seemed to want me around,

And sometimes it hurt knowing that if I wasn't here your life would be perfect,

I wouldn't exist and you'd get everything you deserve as you should,

You remember the first time you said I was ugly?

I will remember it for the rest of my life,

I was so hurt but I still managed to smile through it,

You're right after all

It's hard you know knowing you said that to me,

I guess its what they say the truth hurts,

I guess should've expected it,

It still hurts even know,

You opened a wound in me,

And it doesn't matter what you say it will never heal,

You may say you you never meant it,

But you did,

And maybe that's why it hurt so much,

But I don't hate you,

It doesn't matter what you did or will do,

I can't,

You're still my sibling after all.
