It's been a month to my birthday, and life had been a total bliss ever since. Let's exclude all the teasings we get from our families, but it's fun.
Today is our engagement, and i am so excited and happy. We will be married by the end of this week. I have taken three weeks' leave from the hospital after working overtime and postponing some of the surgeries, which were not urgent.
Dumbo has been forcing me to come shopping every other day! I have no idea how she gets so much strength after working overtime since she needed leave for marriage.
The thing is, she is still not done with the shopping part. She still needs to get floral jewelry for haldi ceremony and a lenhnga for sangeet and Ankita also needed..... uh something and since our parents are busy with guests so we three will be going shopping tomorrow.
Well, we are going to get engaged officially today!
"Bhai apne khayalo ki duniya se bahar aao aur jaldi ready ho jao warna mumma pura ghr sar par utha lenge," Ankita said. She was wearing a white colored lenhnga, and honestly, she looks like a human today and not some witch!

Why do i feel that the moment we get married, my family will kick me out and keep my wife with them!!
Shrugging off my thoughts, i quickly changed into a pink kurta set.

I got ready and decided to go downstairs to help maa and Papa in the preparations.
"You got ready! My son is looking so handsome!" Maa said, applying khol behind my ear.
"Woah bhai! I didn't know aap bhi insaan lgg skte ho!" Ankita commented, and i just rolled my eyes!
God, sometimes i feel so insulted realizing how similar our thoughts are!
