Guess who's back to plague your lives? ;)

~~~
wisps of her hair flowed in the wind,
the wind that settled upon our faces like a kiss,
a sweet kiss, like that of a mother
a mother who loves her child with all of her heart,
my heart which beats a mile a minute
minutes that keep ticking by as we stare up at the beautiful sky
the sky, so blue, so close and so far
far is what we seem to be, in our own little worlds when in reality we're both laying side by side
side by side we lay, our elbows almost touching
touching, a thing i wish we would do, not sexually more professionally, i mean just a hug would do
do, what's a guy to do when the girl he likes is torn in two?
torn into two pieces, severed symmetrically
symmetrically placed side by side, left to look at each other in disdain,
disdain, the feeling i felt when she called me and told me to meet her here,
here, our safe haven away from everything
everything going against us
us, something that can now never happen..
broken pieces can be melded back together, but sometimes there is just too much damage to be fixed,
so i watch, helpless, as she fades away.
A/N
Something I started to write yesterday and finished today.
Written in lowercase because why not?
I am not sure what this poem is about, so I'll live it to your interpretation. What did this feel like to you?
To me, it seemed like a struggle between two friends (boy and girl)from the standpoint of a guy. He wanted to be more than friends, perhaps for a long time and thought about telling her that. But on this particular day the girl's mother told the girl that they were moving so the girl immediately called him to tell him. They agree to meet at their safe haven: a treehouse, a cave, an abandoned house— wherever— and enjoy each other's silence.
Song: Breakeven (Falling to Pieces) - The Script
I chose this song because it is just so beautiful and it involves pieces so... yeah XD
