"The End Of All Things"

Saturday, May 30th
3:30pm

"You shouldn't be down here," Jonathan told them.

Indigo continued to cry.

"Indigo?"

"WHAT THE FUCK DAD, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!"

"I'm sorry. You weren't supposed to find out."

Jonathan shut the door behind him.

"What... what are you doing?" Stella trembled.

Jonathan hit Stella over the head with the box and she collapsed to the ground.

"Dad, no!" Indigo cried.

Stella struggled to get up.
"Cassie, run!"

Cassiopeia grabbed a lamp and threw it at Jonathan's head.

"Ah!"

She started for the door, but Jonathan hit her in the face.

"You can't take on all three of us!" Stella challenged.

Jonathan pulled out a switchblade.

"What are you doing?!" Indigo screamed.

"You've lost your mind!" Stella yelled.

"Shut up!" He snarled.

Jonathan stalked towards Stella.

"NO!" Indigo yelled.

"STELLA!" Cassiopeia shrieked.

Stella quickly dodged to the side leaving Indigo in his path.

"Dad, stop!" Indigo pleaded.

Jonathan stepped closer and clenched the blade.

"No!" Stella cried out.

Suddenly, the door swung open.

*thwack*

Jonathan fell to the ground.

"Indigo!" Michelle had hit Jonathan in the head with a bat.

"Mom!" She cried.

Michelle grabbed Indigo and held her tightly.
"I heard the screaming. Are you girls okay?"

"We... we are now," Cassiopeia shook.

"I'll... call the police," Stella said softly.

Friday, June 5th
5:00pm

Cassiopeia walked across the graduation stage while Jillian, Darren, Titania, and Orion cheered for her.

Both their mothers cheered for Stella and Indigo while they also walked across the stage.

Later...

After the ceremony, Cassiopeia and her friends were together on the city rooftop, as the sun was setting.

"Well, we finished," Cassiopeia exhaled.

"I feel like I should be happy, but..." Indigo said softly.

"I'm sorry, Indigo," Stella told her.

"I am, too," Cassiopeia added.

"It's... it's okay. It's good we're moving on now."

"Next is college," Stella declared.

"I'm guessing no one's going to Bates University," Indigo said.

"Oh, fuck no," Cassiopeia replied.

"There's another college around here that's really great," Stella told them.

"Yeah, Murillo University," Cassiopeia confirmed.

"Derek is going with us, too," Stella smiled.

"Are you guys okay?" Indigo asked.

"Yeah, we're great."

"How're things with Jay?" Cassiopeia asked Indigo.

"We're taking it slow right now. But, we're good."

"Have you talked to Oliver lately?" Stella turned to Cassiopeia.

"A little bit. But, with everything that's been going on, it's been hard to spend time together."

"Cassie?" Oliver came up to the rooftop.

"Here's your chance," Indigo winked.

"We'll give you guys some space," Stella took off with Indigo.

"Hey, Oliver," Cassiopeia blushed a bit.

"I thought I might find you up here. How're you doing?" He went to her side.

"I'm good for the most part."

"That's good. I'm... I'm sorry about everything that went down."

"It's okay. It's over now."

"And I feel like we never really had any time to... get closer."

"I would've liked that."

"But..." Oliver reached for Cassiopeia's hand. "Maybe we can make up for lost time."

"That sounds really great," she smiled at him.

"Really?"

"Yes. Of course."

"I... do really care about you. A lot."

"Oliver..."

Oliver gently tilted her chin up and kissed her.
She reacted immediately and wrapped her arms around him, deepening the kiss.
She felt him smile against her lips.
When they finally parted they were both breathless.

"Wow..." she whispered.

"I've wanted to do that for a long time..."

"I have, too."

Oliver cupped her cheek in his hand and kissed her again.
