In an alley where a lot of Vampires have been spotted, Magnus is examining one of the men on the ground. Alec is kneeled down by the other one whilst Alisha attempts to catch a scent.
"Azazel did this." Alec says and just a while after, Magnus finds Izzy's necklace. He picks it up and Alec comes closer.
"Izzy's necklace." Magnus says and looks over at Alisha. She walks over and takes the necklace, sniffing it to catch her parabatai's scent. She passes it back to Magnus and walks around again.
"It's broken." Alec observes. "Where is she?"
In the institutes Ops centre, Alisha and Alec are talking Jace and Clary through Izzy's capture. Alisha holds her boyfriends hand as he speaks, knowing how worried he is about her sister. Occasionally, she'd tell him how if something was secretly wrong with Izzy, she'd know.
"I thought Izzy had the flue. Why would she leave the Institute?" Clary says. The couple look at each other, knowing that was a lie, and then turns back around to the siblings.
"I don't know. But if he's hurt her..." Alec trails off.
"If she was hurt, I'd know." Alisha says whilst Jace says:
"Hey, she could have escaped. We don't even know if he has her."
"She hasn't called. And she's not answering her phone. But she's still alive. I know it, it's just... He's got her." Alec looks down making Alisha kiss his cheek, letting him know that she's there for him. On the screen they have footage of Azazel coming out of the Heslodge bar.
"What does he want?" Clary asks.
"I don't know, but we should inform the inquisitor, okay?" Jace says.
"She's in a meeting with the Alicante Council." Clary comments.
"I don't understand. Why Izzy? What does a Greater Demon want with her?" Alec complains.
"I'm not sure. But I think I know who we could ask." Jace says knowingly, looking between the three around him. Alisha groans whilst Clary sighs.
In the institutes basement cell, Alisha, Jace and Clary are questioning Valentine. The hybrid, not trusting herself, stays firmly beside Jace, knowing the shadowhunter could stop her from doing something drastic.
