Yellow Sundress

Dice was sitting on the four-seater swing, that was once a pretty mint green but now faded into a pale beige, when he saw a flowing yellow fabric float into his front yard.

He watched as the yellow fabric landed on his flower bed. Huffing, he got up to remove and dispose of it when a voice stopped him.

"Wait! Wait!" Round the corner, a beautiful and petite girl with big brown eyes and curly brown hair came running.

Her dazzling white smile stood in contrast to her dark chocolate colored skin. Her jungle-print jumper flowed behind her in the wind, her sandals flopping onto the pavement outside Dice's homey place.

"I'm so sorry sir! I was doing the laundry when my yellow sundress flew from my grasp. I don't suppose I could retrieve it?" The honey colored ends of the girls hair fluttered in the breeze.

Shaking himself out of the daze, he asked, "What's your name?"

Blushing ever so slightly, the girl answered, "My name's Amber, Amber Chrome."

As he smiled at Amber, she blushed and giggled, waving right back.

In that moment, Dice knew he felt his 'Zing!'...
