He was her oxygen.

She was a passing figure.

He gave her life.

He lived on without her.

She was not a nerd, she was no wallflower and neither was she horribly misunderstood. She was not popular, she did not fall for the bad boy or the wrong guy. 

She fell for the right one. He was so right, but he just didn't fall back. 

So when she fell, there was no one there to catch her. 

She wasn't secretly talented, she wasn't horribly untalented either. 

No, 

she was the worst of them all. 

She was ordinary, she was average and that made her blend into the crowd.

Her ordinariness made her hate herself, even more, each day. 

Because she wished to be good enough.

Good enough for him.

Good enough to love him.  

Good enough for the world.
