Jaden's POV:
"Baby, it wasn't your fault" i whispered placing my forehead against hers, i was holding her checks
"J they- they-" she tried to speak but couldn't
"shhh" i said pulling her into my chest whilst holding the back of her head
"your safe now" i explained, we stayed like this for about 20 minutes and it was breaking me, hearing her quiet sobs and seeing how much pain she was in, but i had to be strong for her
"i'm sorry bub" i whispered letting a tear fall
"no yo- you don't have any- anything to say sorry fo-for" she said in between shaky breaths
"no, had i not have left you alone with that bitch this wouldn't have happened" i said whilst wiping the tear, she removed her head from my chest and held my checks just like i had previously done
"you couldn't have known this was going to happen but it's okay now, i am with you" she whispered smiling but it was her smile it was a painful smile
"but it's not okay Erin" i said looking down, i looked back up to see Erin yawning
"come on baby let's go take a nap, i'll tell the guys" i said, as i was about to start walking away i felt Erin grab my arm, i turned around and her eyes were big and full of fear
"please don't go" she whispered
"okay come on" i said picking her up, she wrapped her arms around my neck and lay her head on my shoulder
"i love you" she whispered
"i love you more" i whispered back
"i don't think that's possible" she whispered back, i shook my head and chuckled at her, we got to my room and I saw Bryce sat there, as soon as he saw me and Erin he smiled, he still had big, red, swollen eyes, he jumped up and started walking towards us
"baby" i whispered causing her to lift her head up, seeing Bryce, she let out a little cry
"i'm sorry Bry, I didn't mean to-"
"i know, i know don't worry about it, i'm just happy your home" he said
"J can you put me down?" she asked me, she unwrapped her legs from my waist and her arms from my neck, she turned around and hugged Bryce, Bryce hugged back and both of them let out a little sob, i went over to my curtains and closed them and I got a hoodie and a pair of Erin's shorts for her to change into
"i'll leave you guys" he said
"can you tell the others that we are up here" i asked
"of course" he said before closing the door
"here, go get changed" I said handing her the clothes i picked out, she nodded and waking into the bathroom, closing the door over slightly but leaving it open slightly. I sat on the edge of the bed and put my head in my hands
"fuck" i whispered to myself, i heard a bang coming from the bathroom, i jumped up and ran in. I saw Erin curled up in the corner, knees to her chest, crying.
"hey hey hey, baby what happened" i asked pulling her into my lap
"i- i-" she tried, she was shaking and hyperventilating, heart heart was going to fast
"hey focus on my breathing" i said holding her hand to my chest, after about 3 minutes her breathing had calmed down
"baby what happened" i asked again
"i can't look. i look horrible. if i look i feel it and see it all over again" she whispered, i looked down at her legs, bruises upon bruises, cuts... from a knife, dry blood, red hand prints, fuck
"do you want a pair of sweats?" i asked, she nodded
"okay one second" i said before walking back into the cupboard and grabbed a pair of my sweats, i walked back into the bathroom, handing her the sweats, i walked out to let her change, i went and lay in the bed waiting for her, a couple minutes later she walked out of bathroom and looked and me, she let out a small forced smile
"come on" i said patting the bed, she walked over and lay down on her side, i pulled the covers up and i went to cuddle with Erin but when I came up behind her she, flinched, fuck
"i- i am sorry" i said turned and facing the other way, fuck,
"baby" i heard her whisper, i turned over
"i didn't mean to" i explain
"J it's fine i- i will just need to get over it" she said, i was about to speak but she cut me off
"come on" she said cuddling herself into me
"goodnight baby girl, i love you" i whispered and i heard light snores.

Bryce's POV:
I was walking into the living room when i felt everybody's eyes on my

"no. and she won't be for a long time but she's with Jaden right now and he is what's she needs" i said
"come on we're going to watch a movie and i need cuddles" addison said doing the grabby hand thing i chuckled and walked over to her, we started watching After and about 20 minutes in I had zoned out, i was thinking about how we could have prevented what happened
"Bryce" I heard addy whisper in my ear grabbing my arm, i liked at her
"hmm?" i hummed
"she's alright. shes upstairs with Jaden and like you said he is what she needs" she said
"and there was nothing you could have done to prevent it" she said, i looked at her
"how-?" i asked so confused as to how she know that was what i was thinking, she smiled
"okay love birds just watch the movie, please"Josh said making everyone laugh.
