Erin's POV: 

I tried to open my eyes but they felt heavy, after a minute of attempting to open my eyes they eventually gave in and opened but I wish they hadn't. I looked around and saw Jaden laying on a hospital bed, I was sat on a seat with my head on Ellie's shoulder, she obviously realised I had woken up 

"hey" she said and I could see the sympathetic smile on her face without even looking 

"hi" i said my voice really groggy and my throat very sore 

"you were stirring so i sent Payton to get you some water so you had some to drink when you woke up because I assumed your throat would hurt" she said, i smiled and nodded 

"what happened?" i asked her 

"well what do you remember" she asked

"i remember up to when the nurse came in and told me Jaden was in a c-coma" I stuttered "but that's all" i said 

"well once she told you, you fell to the ground screaming and crying so me and Payton walked in and saw and I realised that you were starting to have a panic attack so I took you from the nurse and I calmed you down and you eventually fell asleep" she said, i just nodded 

"can i get a minute?" i asked, she looked at me confused "i just need to talk to him" she made a face finally understanding what I meant 

"yeah i'll just go find Payton" she said before walking out of the room, I stood up and started dragging one of the seats over to the side of Jae, I sat there for a minute and just looked at him. After a few minutes of just staring at him I took his hand into mine and held it to my face 

"baby" i started but didn't know if I could continue, i have to. 

"baby, I love you, you know that right?" I asked, i let out a sob 

"i don't know if you can hear me but I need you, I really do" 

"Please baby you need to hold on" I said holding his hand in one of mine whilst using the other to push his hair out of his face, I stood up and leaned over him and just hugged him letting out sobs 

"please i love you" i sobbed into his chest, I heard a knock on the door, I dried my eyes and the door opened to reveal payton and ellie stood in the door frame, payton started walking over to me with a plastic cup in his hand 

"here this will help your throat" he said 

"thanks" i said before taking a sip of the cold water

"how about we head home for a bit and get something to eat and clean clothes since we have been here over night" ellie suggested 

"no. i'm not leaving him"i said starring at a wall 

"you can come back I just thought we could get some food,change clothes, fill in the guys-"

"no thanks Ellie"i said cutting her off "you and payton can go home and fill the guys in but I don't want to leave J here all alone" i explained 

"oh okay well we can bring you food and a change of clothes if you want"payton offered 

"worry about yourselves, don't worry about me, i don't think food would agree with my stomach right now" i told them to which they just nodded 

"are you sure your okay here alone?" ellie asked 

"yeah and i'm not completely alone, I have J" i said looking down, she came over and rubbed my shoulder 

"okay we will be back in an hour or so" she said before both her and payton walked out, 

About 20 minutes later I decided that I was probably should have asked ellie to get me some food but I don't even have my phone to ask her, i decided that i would go for a walk and find some sort of vending machine 

"J, i'm just going to see if I can get food,okay? i love you" i said before opening the door and walking out, i closed the door gently. 

I walked along the long, white, empty corridors, smelling the strong bleach smell, I came across a vending machine just down the hall from Jaden, I looked at the machine and scanned all the different options to choose from, none of them really stood out, i took a step back to look at the options lower down but as I did, I heard footsteps getting closer and closer, I turned to look and I saw a nurse running towards me, he looked like he was just going to run into me so I moved closer to the vending machine just in the nick of time because the nurse ran past me almost knocking me over 

"jeez" i mumbled, I heard more footsteps coming from the same direction the previous nurse had come from, 6-7 nurses ran towards me just like the other nurse had done before, they also ran right past me, I turned my head and watched them run down the hall, They all ran into a room and the door closed, I started walking and as I did, I realised, the room they ran into was Jadens!

I started running down the hall until I got to the door, I opened it and I saw the nurses rolling Jaden towards the door 

"what's happening?" i asked 

"he is going into an emergency surgery" one of the nurses explained before they started rolling him down the hall, I was holding his hand

"Hold on I still need you!" 

"Hold on I still want you!"

"please I love you" 

"miss you can't go past these doors, i'm afraid" one of the nurses said to me before all the nurses ran through the doors leaving me in the hall

"no,no,no,no,no,NO,NO,NO" I started saying over and over again, I slide down the wall, crying, pulling my knees up to my chest 

"please I need you" I mumbled into my knees 

"I love you" i whispered  sobbing
