At this point, I can't rely on anyone, so I need to do my own research. No one can for sure tell me whether Yoongi is telling the truth or Jimin. That's why I told Jungkook my dad needs help, and that I will probably stay the night at his place.

Jungkook would stop me. Or go with me. He'd mess with my judgment, because he is fully distrustful of Yoongi. I could tell Yoongi, but if he's fucking with me, it wouldn't make sense. I could ask Taehyung for help, but Taehyung isn't much of a fighter. Plus, he's got enough bullshit going on without me asking him to be my criminal side-kick for the night.

I need someone clever and brave, someone who can fight, and someone who's a bit crazy. Also – won't spill the news to anyone once we're done.

At 3 a.m., I'm sitting in my car, lights off, observing Jimin's 'holiday' mansion from a distance – the only place I can associate with him for now. On the passenger's seat – Wooshik.

"Again, what's the goal here?" he asks.

I need more. This is a deserted spot, but if he really is such a mastermind of a criminal, he must have different places. I need to find them. I need to find everything I could possibly know about Jimin.

"Research," I say. "Break in, find information, documents, papers, maps, addresses, phone numbers. Everything. Don't get caught."

"Nice. Not to brag, but I'm kinda good at this," he says.

"Really?" This was supposed to be a quick action, not a get-to-know-each-other kind of meeting, but I can't help myself. He seems too fun to just go about it without getting to know him a bit.

"I used to steal cars," he says.

"How many do you have on your conscience?"

With a chuckle, he says, "On my conscience, zero. On the account, twenty four."

I slowly turn my head to look at him. "I'm not so sure anymore who I'm putting my trust in."

"I'm not a criminal." We stare at each other for a moment. "Nor am I an undercover cop." That, for some reason, makes us both laugh. I don't know if a positive gut feeling is enough to trust him, but that's what I'm going by tonight.

I liked him from the start, from the moment he said my race would be the most thrilling if I went crazy. I like him even better after he charged at Lee at the last race, for what Lee was saying. No second thoughts, punched him square in the face and didn't feel an ounce of remorse. Also, I did tell Taehyung he can tell Wooshik about everything, and I already know he did. So Wooshik knows. That makes the job tonight that much easier.

Maybe my gut feeling is not wrong this time. It's not like it has ever been much off.

We mute our phones before leaving. I take the gun I got from Yoongi. For an emergency. I can't just... shoot Jimin, or something. If he is the most wanted criminal, I don't even know how many of his allies I would pull onto myself. To feel a bit more confident, I have it under my shirt.

The street lamps don't work here. I'm not even sure if Jimin has any protection here. It's like he believes no one knows about this place.

"It almost feels too quiet," Wooshik says, as we walk along the road. "Are you sure it's his house?"

"I've been here."

"You said he brought you here. But is it actually his?"

I hate that he's got a point. Jimin might have as well brought me anywhere.

I glance at him. Probably, because it's so dark I can barely see anything besides the house in the distance. "We're about to see."

Instead of the main gate, we climb the fence on the side. So far so good, no alarms. We walk further in, avoiding the lit up paths.
