"What are you doing today after school?" He casually said.
"Nothing much, I guess. You?" I shrugged as we walked through the slightly busy hallway.
"Good! Uh yeah nothing much either."he nodded.
We stayed quiet for a few more minutes before Silas broke it.
"You want to go out for dinner? Not like that! Just as- I uh mean as friends of course." He scratched the back of his head tufting his hair even more.

The patronizing voice mocked.
"You don't have too. You know what it was a stupid question." He sputtered shaking his head before walking ahead.
"Sure."
He stopped and turned around his demeanor slightly changing to more calm yet he looked like his moody self as always.
"Great! I'll pick you up at 7." He sighed falling in step next to me.
As much as I wanted to jump and squeal like a little school girl I kept a calm facade. We are going out as friends.
We bid our goodbyes and I left for homeroom. Oh shit. Oh shit. I'm going out.
