Kayal' s POV

Today I revealed one more secret to Salim. I don't know how he is like a magnet to all my secrets. With that thought in mind I settled in the living room. John's parents liked Sara a lot. They were asking her a lot of questions. John was sitting like a student about to write to his Board Examination. I had a feeling that he was more anxious than Sara. Both I and Jaanu were hungry for food. The smell of food was tempting me a lot. At last when Salim and Harneet entered the room, John's father asked us to come for lunch.

We had Momos(steamed dumplings with meat or vegetables) and Thukpa (noodle based soup with vegetables or meat), Sel Roti (a type of Roti made with Rice and Wheat flour), Churrpi Ningro Curry (Churrpi is cottage cheese, Ningro is an edible fern grown in Himalayan region), Kinema Curry(Fermented Soy Beans Curry) along with Sikkim's famous Spicy Tomato Pickle. John was explaining all the dishes to Salim. It seems John had mentioned about Salim's food preferences to his parents. So there were vegetable variations for Momos as well as Thukpa. I enjoyed the meal a lot.

John asked all of us, "Do you all like our Sikkim Cuisine?"

Sara was having her second serving of Momos, "Of course John, it is yummy."

Jaanu also said, "It's extremely different from our cuisine. I like it."

I said, "I feel so content eating this food that I will happily go to a food coma."

All of them laughed. Harneet said, "My favorite is Momos. They are mouth watering."

Salim said, "Yeah, Momos are really nice."

When we finished our lunch we were given the option to choose from Mohi(Butter milk) or curd(Yoghurt). I chose Mohi. It was amazing.

After that John offered to take us to his family school. The school is run by a trust owned by his family. After his PG he wanted to work in this school. We passed that school in the morning, so we knew the route. So we were walking ahead when John was coming behind us with his friends. Harneet called us, "Hey, walk slowly or follow us. What if you got lost?"

"Harneet, we have to take second right and first left to reach that school. In the morning we went outside for some sight- seeing instead of sleeping. We know where the school is."

With that we walked away. Sara spoke in Malayalam, "The climate is so nice that it is giving me some dirty thoughts. I at least want to watch that type of movies now."

I too replied in Malayalam, "Don't tell me that you haven't gotten over that stage of watching those films yet."

Before she could reply, Jaanu spoke, "Does that mean, you also watched those type of movies?"

"During my first year in college, our seniors ragged us. We were made to watch soft types for whole three hours. When I went home and told my mother about it, she told me that straight people have sex, it is only crooked minded people who watch such type of movies and read such type of books. She then gave me a book 'Arthamulla Antharangam' by Dr.Shalini. It was more like sex education. She also asked to use her name if my seniors ragged me again. It was a woman's college and my mother was a guest lecturer in my college then."
