Ruqayyah's POV

"Doing literature work? That's for the day after tomorrow." She says as she sits down on the table, stopping me from continuing my work.

"What do you want now Jess?"

"Out of all the girls in our literature class, which obviously none of them compare to me," She smiles, throwing her hair back seductively, "Why would Alex choose to sit next to You?" She emphasised on the word 'you' while staring at me in dismay

She's too full of herself.

Did she really come here to ask me about Alex's choices? Wow, then she really came to the wrong person.

"I am sorry Jess, if you're looking for entertainment, you came to the wrong place. I am trying to do my work here so I would appreciate if you could please_"

"Shut up!" She rudely interrupts me snd I sigh, knowing there's no right or wrong way of talking to this girl. She will never listen to me. "You can fake it in front of others, but not in front of me. I have seen people like you. You pretend to be all innocent and then throw your little snake teeth out right behind us when we least expect it." She says and I give her a confused look.

"What are you talking_"

"Shut up!" She interrupts me once again and I grab all my books and my bag and get up to leave towards another table.

"Don't you dare ignore me! You haven't yet answered my question." She raises her voice at me.

"Make up your mind, you either want me to shut up or you want me to talk. It's humanly impossible to do both at the same time." I state in annoyance

"Don't try to act smart with me!" She raises her voice once again.

"I am stating the obvious."

"No, you're being rude!"

"So are you!"

"I hate you!" She childishly screams on top of her lungs and I take a deep breath before responding.

"Well, I don't. I just find you extremely Immature, not to say the most." I say and try to walk away once again but she steps closer pulling my arm making me inch forward towards her and accidentally dropping my books.

"I don't know what your game is, but stay away from My Alex! Do you understand?" She puts emphasis on the 'My'.

"MyAlex? I don't know anybody with that name, so be happy because I Will stay away." I say sarcastically and pull my arm away from her grip.

"I will make your life a living hell! Mark my words!"

"Leave her alone Jessica." We both hear a third voice and I turn back to find Bianca walking to me.

"It's Jess for you. Oh! Is she your brand new hijabi friend? What happened to Aisha? Did you find out how much of a snake she is? Be careful, this one doesn't seem trustworthy either, after all, she's a Muslim." Jess says and believe me or not, it took all my faith to stop me from jumping on her.

"Jess, shut your mouth before I shut it for you!" Bianca shouts as she steps closer towards Jess. All eyes were in our direction at this point.

"What? Are you gonna jump on me? Too bad we're in the library or I would show you." Jess threatens.

"No problem, let's go outside now and you can show me how much of a fake snake you are. You hiss but you don't go past that." Bianca had lost it, I could feel it, so I take the liberty to stand up in between the two, which was certainly not a good idea. I'm standing in between a hater and a bomb about to explode.
