Nova was experiencing an incredible amount of anxiety. She had one hour to kill until the two council members came with the helmet, and she didn't know what to do. It was becoming hard to breathe through her metal mask, so she took it off. Taking a deep breath of fresh air, she faced her hostage.
Adrian Everhart let out a gasp. "You! From the parade."
Nova spun around. "Shut up," she growled.
"I fixed your bracelet... and than you tried to murder my dad!"
Nova turned back to him. "I didn't exactly ask you to fix it, did I?"
He looked at her through narrowed eyes. "Your plan will fail, you know. The Renegades will arrest you, and the rest of the Anarchists."
Nova glared. "I won't let them arrest the Anarchists. This was my plan, if it fails, then it's my fault."
The next forty-five minutes passed in silence. Nova glanced at her watch, and put her mask back on. She was significantly calmer. A moment later, the door burst open. Captain Chromium walked in. Without the helmet.
