Adrian gasped as Nightmare fell from the ceiling. Everyone watched. He was wondering if anyone was going to try to catch the girl, when Hugh stepped forward and caught her small body.
"Ready to see who she is?" He asked, setting her against the wall while Tsunami handcuffed her.
Adrain and the others gathered around the unconscious villain. Simon removed her hood, while Thunderbird took off the mask.
Nightmare looked just like the girl from the parade. Short black hair. Sharp features. Her breath rattled in her chest.
"It's hard to imagine someone so small could cause so much damage," Ruby said, twirling her wire.
"Let's wake her up now," said Blacklight.
Hugh shook Nightmare, and after a few tries, she shot up, blinking furiously. Her eyes were wet, like she was about to cry.
"No no no not again," she rasped, then collapsed as coughs shook her body.
When the fit was over, the girl looked around wildly, her blue eyes wide. "What-"
Simon cut her off. "Nightmare, you are under arrest for your crimes against society and the Renegades. Come quietly, and we won't have to hurt you anymore."
